"House out of town. Ten to fifteen minute walk through the park to get to the town. House and decor tired and not very well kept. Down stairs shower had a poor drainage system, towel rail covered in dust, rusty shower fittings, patio door into kitchen had dropped on hinges and couldn’t be closed without a lot of effort, blind broken on outside conservatory door. Toaster in the kitchen kept tripping breaker and toaster was very hot to touch when used, which would be dangerous for a child. Conservatory had two chairs in which when considering it is for eight people is of little use but could of been so much better with more seating in it for which there was adequate room to do.The gutters were leaking at the back onto the conservatory which was noisy during showers. Upstairs shower in main bathroom vibrated the pipe work alarmingly when you switched it on.Single beds in back bedroom were not meant for adults more for a child. Wardrobes in front and back were meant for children. With the stunning views from the front of the house the potential for this property is far from realised. Not deserving of four more a three."

"I loved staying at Beega Apartment - it's perfect for being in the centre of Bowness and so able to get to most of the Lake District (I used the buses). There is a bit of noise in the evening but I didn't find it disturbed me too much - I can imagine it would be more annoying if it was really warm and you wanted the windows opened. The noise was worst at weekends but even then it didn't stop me from sleeping. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. I enjoyed being able to use Freeview on both televisions as well. The heating was very effective when I did use it. I could have perhaps used a clothes horse to dry the clothes I washed while I was there but this is a very minor point. I would happily go back to Beega Apartment and would recommend to any solo traveller or couple."

"we have stayed at hotels and b and b's in Bowness on windermere a fair few times as its quite local to us and is a lovely place for a break away from home. We loved Deja Vue because it was in a brilliant location, just a short walk from shops, bars, restaurants, centre of bowness. Unlike the other places we have stayed at, it was a nice quiet retreat. The owners had thought of everything, down to the minute but important things and they made sure we had all the information we needed. Spacious but cosy and much better than just having a room to go back to and was very clean. parking only for a smallish car, however there is alternative free parking just at the end of the lane and the owners also provide a parking pass for use if you need it, so all covered."

"Lovely apartment, however due to its location it isn't a quiet one, due to the bars & shops, so if you like to sit in silence with no TV on then this isn't the apartment for you. This didn't bother us in the slightest as you could hear the TV & we didn't get woken up by anyone. There was cleaning products & tea, coffee, sugar, a small jug of milk & salt & pepper provided, along with a tea towel, sponge & cloth. It doesn't have its own car park but you can park 2 minutes walk away for £15 for 3 days, which can be used at other car parks in the Lakes. You can find the information on the councils website. All in all we would definitely stay here again as it's central to everything & a really nice apartment."

"We stayed here for 1 week during Christmas 2018. On first walking into the cottage it really was a big "wow" from both of us as we entered the modern spacious kitchen and the lovely bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Being recently refurbished everything is brand new. But it's not just the furniture and décor that impress but also all the little touches here and there that really make you feel at home. The location is perfect for walking and cycling with just a short walk to the lake and you're straight out onto the local fells. Local eateries include the Chalet for coffees and snacks and the local pub the Farmers Arms for traditional bar meals. We would definitely return."
