" We arrived on a later Ferry from Oban about 6pm and the cottage was easy to find, spotless and very well equipped. We were glad to have stocked up in Oban as the main opportunities for food shopping are limited to the Spar shops in Craignure or Salen but Tobermory has a good Coop. The information folder in the cottage also recommends places to buy sea food locally. We were visited by 2 ponies and the local sheep but missed out on any otters, or sea eagles for which we should have booked an afternoon with Eaglewatch. Weather was mixed but didn’t stop our enjoyment of Mull. We did several short walks along the coast, including from Tobermory which is picture postcard perfect. We saved the best day for a day trip to Iona with its abbey and idyllic white sands and turquoise seas. It was lovely to return to this comfortable cottage at the end of the day and we had great fun using the wood burning stove which is very efficient. If we could make a couple of recommendations it would be to communicate more regularly with your clients as we had to chase up to get the information we needed ie directions. The second would be to buy a new duvet for the double bed. We had to use the single bed duvets to keep warm. "

" We stayed here for a week. Beautiful, quiet, yet convenient location. Can't think of a more useful place to stay on Mull. Only 10 mins from Tobermory, 10 mins from the Oban ferry, and directly on the crossroads for the scenic roads of mull. Good shop and post office across the road, pub just a short walk away. Everything about the cottage was lovely, from the well stocked kitchen to the cosy living room. We particularly enjoyed eating our breakfast in the kitchen, watching the birds, pheasants, hens, rabbits and sheep(!) wandering around. Great supply of walking books and OS maps, these were well used as we walked almost every day. Overall just fab. The owner was very friendly and informative on the phone too. Main downside was that the stove was a bit temperamental. We have one at home so generally know how to work them, but it didn't draw well even with well seasoned wood and kindling and would inevitably just smoulder. The heating, however, was excellent, so it wasn't a problem. The TV also had poor sound quality.. it was a challenge to watch the supplied DVDs on the only day we stayed in. Again not a deal breaker at all. We don't go on holiday to watch films! "

" A perfect cottage for two and handy to visit all parts of the island. Just opposite small supermarket and post office for supplies and cash bank. Kitchen excellent, ate in 6 out of 7 nights and had everything needed including salt, pepper and spices. Although we had gone prepared washing up liquid was also supplied.lovely comfy bed and cosy lounge. It was the end of July when we visited so didn't need heat but the fire place would be great in winter. The highlight of our visit was the trip to the Treshnish Isles and the amazing puffins etc plus sea eagles as we sailed back! Definitely plan to return. "

"Daisy Brae was a cosy little cottage; really warm and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. We loved having the wood burner. There was plenty of space for two people and most of the furniture was really high quality. In terms of location it was excellent; being in the middle of the island really worked for us and it was only ten minutes from Loch na Keal which we found to be our favourite place on the island. There is a shop across the road which was really handy. Overall I would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family and would love to stay there again."

" Daisy Brae cottage is in a great location with easy access to restaurants and the local shops. Everything you could need on holiday has been thought about, with the cottage really well equipped. We thought the bed and the couch were very comfortable, and perfect to come back to after a long day exploring the island. It was very homely with the inclusion of the internet and DVDs, and we will be more than happy to book this cottage again. The owners are lovely and very helpful. "
