The town has a bustling harbour where in the early morning fishing boats can be seen landing their catch, the historic Abbey can be approached by almost two hundred steps, and fairs and festivals throughout the year.

The property was situated in an excellent location. We enjoyed thedailey wild bird and squirel visits and the log fire was wonderfully cosy in the evening

Squirrel acres is a great base, it is quite a climb up the steps but worth it , we had a lovely welcome as the log burner was alight so nice and cosy . Beds were very comfortable. It was very clean. The dogs loved the enclosed deck which had a table and chairs and a bench .lots of wildlife came to visit. We had a great time lovely walk into Whitby.
