Facilities were all good. A fully equipped snuggly place. I would live to know more about the history of the cottage. We loved the starry skyviews from the skylight in bed at night. I personally enjoyed watching the work at Parkol from the bathroom window. Where else would you see ships being built.....amazing. The distance to the town was just great, however if your not a walker or cannot deal with steps this isn't for you. We would stay again. Many thanks. Mr and Mrs Hardy plus two happy dogs

It is nothing like in the photos. Handrail on steps is covered by ivy and weeds. The smell of damp on entering. Dangerous bottom step on stairs. Views out of the windows are disgusting. Rusty metal and overgrown garden. I read a previous review and the owners stated rubbish in the garden and builders working from 8am to 5pm was going to be short term in October. Christmas week and they are still there hammering and drilling. The frying pan was filthy. Cupboard for plates absolutely reeked of damp .you need to sack your cleaner if you have one. Couldn't use the shower or bath safely and there is nothing to hold on to getting in or out. My husband and I were just looking for a basic place as we would be out and about.. Would definitely not recommend. Very disappointed.
