What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Longframlington To Rent.

"Excellent accommodation in peaceful rural setting. The village of Longframlington is about 1-2 miles away with village shop, bakery/coffee shop, butchers and 2 pubs/restaurants. The lodge is modern, well equipped and spacious with ample parking for 2 cars. There are 2 lodges side by side built in an area to the rear and side of the owners house. We booked this lodge over many others because the description on the Sykes web site said it had an enclosed garden which was ideal as we have 2 dogs and I was recovering from foot surgery so had limited mobility. The garden is only partially enclosed with openings at both sides where young children and dogs could easily escape on to nearby farmland or country lane used by farm vehicles. This was disappointing and put limitations on our time there. The description has now been amended by Sykes after we sent our feedback to them. They do not inspect every property on their books and rely on the description of the property supplied by the owners. I would be very wary of booking with them again without verifying details in the descriptions provided on their web site."

"First shower we had encountered on holiday which was safe enough for my elderly mother to use without assistance with easy taps and a non slippy floor, and doors which are easily operated. Variety of pans and cooking utensils - we cooked happily in the knowledge that everything was there. Minor point - the kitchen taps were a bit stiff! Sofa bed 'not suitable for adults' apparently - so I did not use it..not sure why. There is a green bin so I put recycling in there and had to ask about other waste. It transpires that it all goes in the green bin! - a note to this effect might be useful. There is a local mini spa which might worth advertising Both local pubs had excellent and well priced food. Gem of a local village store as well. Longframlington was an ace 'shot in the dark' for us looking for somewhere well positioned for things to do. I feel the property could be 'pushed' a bit more in terms of singing its location praises - as well as its own facilities."

"This is more like a boutique hotel than a cottage. We have very high expectations, and S45588 met and exceeded them in every way. The cottage was exceptionally clean. The furnishings were lovely, and the wood burner made the drawing room (indeed the whole cottage), exceptionally cosy. The views were quite outstanding, and if you are looking for a perfect bolt hole, away from the hustle and bustle of life, you will not be disappointed. Even the toiletries were from Neal's Yard, demonstrating the fine attention to every detail. These, together with wonderful large white fluffy towels, meant we spent almost as much time in the bathrooms as we did elsewhere! This is an outstanding destination, and don't be put off by the owners living near by. They were very friendly & helpful but in no way intrusive. The "welcome basket", was a lovely touch. We would recommend this cottage to anybody wanting a luxurious break in an area of breath taking beauty. Ten out of Ten!"

"What a super little cottage this is! Cosy, comfortable and super clean! Beautifully styled with gorgeous furniture and a wonderful log burner we felt totally relaxed throughout our stay, in fact at times it felt a little like staying in a cottage from Country life magazine! The kitchen, although small had everything a keen cook could possibly need and the local village has a wonderful artisan bakery. We found plenty to do in the local area, some lovely walks from the cottage and plenty of wildlife to spot. The night sky was amazing with only a little light pollution, plenty of stars to spot or photograph! The owner lives close by and couldn't do enough to help us have a good holiday, nothing was too much trouble. As a keen cleaner it was wonderful to have our bathrooms cleaned when the linen was changed! The children loved to see the horses in the fields and the views from the cottage were outstanding. A truly fantastic holiday."

"WOW!!! What an amazing place this is. We stayed for 5 nights with our 4yr old daughter and our 2 labradors and have serious holiday blues being back home! The house is beautiful very modern but cosy and homely- real home from home with a fresh loaf and a pint of milk on arrival - perfect. The sunsets and views are amazing to watch sat snuggled under a blanket on the huge wooden bench on the beautiful veranda - such a peaceful location but close enough for trips out. The local town is extremely friendly especially to dogs - the most dog friendly place we have found with its own football pitch size enclosed dog exercise area with water and toys provided!!! There is a beautiful dog friendly deserted beach close by with miles of stunning coastline. There's also a stunning lake/woodland walks in the same location - just perfect for those autumn walks. We will definitely be booking another trip here - loved every minute of our stay."
