Cottage was very well laid out and useful for a large family gathering. The two seperate lounge areas gave us options on TV watching which proved useful. The area around the cottage was quiet and calming (apart from odd donkey braying!). Facilities were adequate for our needs but could be updated/ improved in some areas. A welcome pack would have been expected and appreciated given the general high standard of the property. Access to Bamburgh was via a one and half mile walk through fields and a short section of road. Access to the Coastal Path was also relatively easy. We'll positioned for walks and visits to Bamburgh and the local area.

Very small kitchen for the number of people.

Where were the fridge shelves? Dining room table held together with duck tape. Shower and loo cramped. Not even a tea bag to welcome us. Few mugs - always a good idea to have double the number of mugs for the number of occupants. We live in an even older house and know the problems of alterations, but divided in a different way it would have made a more comfortable residence for both families. It might be helpful to indicate on the photo just how much of the house is included in the let. Few people would elect to go up and down quite so many stairs. Not recommended for those with elderly/infirm relatives or those with very young children.

House amenities were great.

Plenty of space for the number of guests. Even the lounge had correct seating for us all and bonus of large TV. Impressed with bedroom sizes and the modern en-suites. Itâs unusual to find plenty of cutlery and crockery, so happy this was considered. Bonus of an espresso machine! We nipped into Seahouses to pick up some family and used the traffic cones in the front garden to try keep the coveted spotâ¦ very briefly. One recommendation would be to change the double and âkingâ to super kings as bedrooms are fabulously large enough and those used to bigger beds would sleep better.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and in a fabulous location – just a few minutes walk to the castle, beach and restaurants. We wanted to be in Bamburgh and also wanted to be within walking distance of local amenities and the beach so Grace Cottage was ideal. And also parking was available next to the property. We liked having the basics included in the welcome basket such as bread, butter, milk and we enjoyed the treats. Everything was good and I know we can rely on consistently high standards when booking with Coquet Cottages.

Lovely cosy cottage nicely kitted out. Welcome hamper full of goodies. Great location. I was with ageing parents, so one level, two bathrooms -one with bath and near eateries was essential. I like the luxury of Coquet Cottages and think great value for what you get. Beds were super large and comfy. Flexibility of heating a plus. Views great. Bathroom products added a sense of luxury. All good really! I like dealing with your company. I already have another booked and will book again with you next year.
