Snaptrip says

Humbleton Cottage in Wooler is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and friendly local atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and modern amenities like Wi-Fi and smart TVs. The adjacent Tankerville Arms adds charm, though its menu inconsistencies were noted. The cottage's location is ideal for exploring Northumberland's coast and attractions.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its immaculate condition and recent refurbishment.

The location is celebrated for its proximity to local pubs and restaurants, as well as being a great base for exploring the Northumberland coast and National Park.

Comfort is consistently highlighted, with guests finding the beds comfy and the living area conducive to relaxation. However, some guests found the sofas less comfortable, which slightly impacts the score.

Facilities are generally good, with a fully equipped kitchen and smart TVs. Points were deducted for the lack of wardrobes, unclear parking, and absence of some basic supplies like oven gloves and washing machine tablets.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

This was arranged when my original booking in Melrose fell through due to the flooding of the National Trust property. This cottage in Wooler proved to be a very good alternative, arranged just before Christmas when the original booking was cancelled. Two very helpful ladies at Sykes assisted me in finding this alternative. It is right next to The Tankerville Arms and owned by the same people. I stayed with my family in The Tankerville Arms (booked directly) and Elaine, Paddy, and their team were very friendly. It made for a good Christmas as we were able to get together in the Inn. We will return I am sure and my sister will book the cottage again.

Great with little kids (washing machine very handy, tv in de kids room so parents could get a lie in, little play area in the pub garden behind the cottages). The pub is also lovely and serves great food! And everyone is so nice and helpful, will definitely recommend!
