"Our 3rd year staying here and yet again it’s been absolutely perfect.Love the new decor and kitchen. Even found a slow cooker so I won’t have to bring my own next time! This place has EVERYTHING!The owners are really friendly and very professional. Anything you need, they will sort it ASAP. We love the complimentary hamper on arrival. It’s a really lovely touch.Everything you need is in walking distance. The Craster Arms is a family/dog friendly pub that does fantastic food and is a 2min walk away. It has a lovely beer garden as well.We love the children’s park opposite the WI hut. It keeps the little ones entertained for hours and has a really nice atmosphere to it.The beach and harbour is just 5/10mins walk and you can spend the whole day there. We like to walk to seahouses along the beach. It only takes 20/30mins. We simply can’t fault this cottage! Ammeneties and location are absolutely spot on! Made so many amazing memories here already and there will be many more made in years to come.Thank you so much Blue Caps. Perfect."

"Blue Caps is just a lovely place to stay. This was our third visit. A lot of thought has gone into furnishings and decorations. The beds and sofas are super comfy, unlike some places where we have stayed. Little touches like hooks at back of bathroom doors, plenty of shelving in bathrooms. Mirrors in each bedroom. Sounds simple, but after staying in places where there is no mirror to use when drying hair, nowhere to put shower things and worst of all a sheet covering up aged and broken down settees! This is quite common! Blue Caps has everything and has just been refurbished. We thought it was nice before but it is now even a nicer place to stay. We have already booked for next year. Beadnell is a delight, we never tire of it, and handy for so many places."

"We had a enjoyable stay at Alnwick Loft the accommodation was ideal for what we wanted. It is in a good location for Alnwick & the surrounding areas. There was always hot water & we were plenty warm enough & never had to do a heating boost. Furniture etc really nice. Instruction booklet for hob was missing but we eventually got the hang of it!Wasn't keen on the way into the property & the hallway seemed a little damp. Could do with some sort of extractor in the bathroom. Don't want to be negative as I know things aren't always easy to remedy. Outside rubbish bin was an issue, full when we got there it wasn't general waste collection week so we had no option but to leave the rubbish next to the kitchen bin. Didn't like doing this but wheelie bin was rammed."

"I very spacious cottage that was well equipped for our stay. Personally we found the mattress too soft. And in the age of technology, wifi would have been a huge advantage. However, the beach was lovely and was only a few minutes walk. We took a stroll one evening and were amazed at the amount of jellyfish!! (We had never seen so many). There is a pele castle across the road from the house and whilst there we had a leaflet pushed through about archeologists doing survey work in the nearby areas surrounding the castle. (Very exciting). We had complimentary tea, coffee, milk and chocolate upon arrival, which was lovely, as well as bottles of water per person. It had the added bonus of stair gates which was fabulous when having twin two year olds."

"We had a lovely holiday. Excellent apartment, was really pleased. Very well equipped and very spacious for a large family gathering. Owners provided lots of visitors information and a welcome pack. Stunning rural location and only a 20min walk down the country lane to the coastal rd where the Saltflats are with lots of bird life.Local amenities at Belford, Co-op supermarket.Lots of places to visit & coastal walks. 3miles to Bamburgh which is a quaint village with a stunning Castle and has plenty of food and drink places. Most of them dog friendly. Seahouses is another 2.5 miles down the coast, small but lovely fish & chips.Stunning coast area with breath taking views. We would defiantly re- book again, all the family enjoyed the holiday."
