"First the positives; you absolutely can not fault the location and views for this property. A text from the owner about a week before with excellent directions (and even a handy tip about the tour de Yorkshire) was greatly received. On arrival we found lovely welcome gifts of Bubbles and cake in the fridge. Beautifully spacious house with ample room for everyone. Well stocked cupboards of crockery, pots and pans etc left us wanting for nothing. Brilliant outdoor entertaining area (which we made the absolutely most of thanks to the fantastic weather). There aren’t really any negatives but if I was going to make any suggestions to make this a 10 out of 10 property they would be; a new bbq on the patio area would be a fab addition especially when the weather is as fab as we had it, being a pet friendly property (which is awesome) it might be worth securing the patio area to prevent young woofers wandering toward the lane (ultimately it is the responsibility of the doggies owner but it would be great peace of mind), a patio heater or fire pit might be a nice addition for cooler evenings. As I say these are not criticisms at all just observations and we would absolutely be happy to stay here again. (Stayed 5-7th May)"

"Have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Fabulous views and great walks, even if a wee bit hilly...gets the old lungs working when we live at sea level. Our accommodation was fantastic, a barn which has converted into three spacious living areas, exceptionally clean, modern, and very well equipped. Jokingly we tried to think of something that wasn't provided...the only thing we could come up with was a cheese grater !! (not that we actually needed one haha, but bet Nicky after this comment will supply one, as she does seem to think of absolutely everything) Thank you so much for the most unexpected lovely friendly touches like flowers, wine, cake, milk and biscuits on arrival. Max enjoyed his welcome dog chews too. You have thought of everything ! We both loved the local bar The Robin Hood. So many friendly people. All bars, shops etc are so dog friendly it's fantastic. Hope to come again as four days was not enough !"

"Hove Wood View is equipped to a very high standard, with comfortable beds and a lovely view from the back, across the valley. The nearby Hinchliffe Pub serves superb food and makes all guests very welcome (within walking distance for most). Tv, telephone and broadband signals work very well. You need a car, unless you're happy to take the bus (stop is nearby). The website photograph is slightly deceptive, as there is actually no grass at the back which children could play on. As a mature couple, we were perfectly happy with the terrace, table and chairs. Heating worked well. Be advised that the road at the back front of the property is busy during the rush hours - not something we had anticipated. However, it didn't really disturb us and we slept well. We will definitely return, as Hebden Bridge is a lovely town (5 miles) as is the area of Cragg Vale. Full of history!"

"We really enjoyed our stay, particularly seeing other fans of Last of the Summer Wine's envious looks as we unlocked and stepped into Nora's house. Nobody comes up the steps though so the sight-seers are not a problem at all. Lots of great cast photos inside the house. Spacious rooms apart from the kitchen, no washing machine or DVD player (disappointing about the lack of a DVD player). There was no allocated parking which was an inconvenience as you're told to park opposite on the road but in practice the locals and visitors to the pub park there. We had to use public car park a 7 minute walk away, not ideal when you have heavy items to carry. We went out to Manchester well worth a visit, and you have to visit Sids cafe in Holmfirth! The locals were very welcoming and friendly. Great holiday."

"We enjoyed a week break in Lee cottage. Very spacious yet homely feel to the cottage, which was ideal following a day of exploring the local area. The cottage is ideally situated and just a short walk away from Hebdon Bridge with its numerous restaurants and pubs. The cottage has 3 decent sized bedrooms upstairs and a single bedroom downstairs just off the kitchen area. A good sized bathroom with jacuzzi bath with was a treat after a day of paint-balling! The master bedroom also has a well equipped en-suite.Beautiful view to the rear of the cottage and a large garden which gets the sun well into the afternoon, even in April. We had a fabulous stay at Lee cottage and look forward to returning soon."
