What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Earsdon To Rent.

"Wonderful location with scenic walks in every direction from the cottage’s door, view to the lighthouse, surrounding fields and golf course, and lots of entertainment from the friendly ponies; perfect for dog walking too. The cottage has all that’s needed for a cosy holiday, comfy beds, wet room shower, underfloor heating in the bathroom, log burner in the lounge, night storage heaters in all the rooms, clean and tidy throughout. The kitchen, especially the fridge-freezer, is small for a family, but with supermarkets close by, that’s no real problem. The owners are on hand next door and very welcoming and friendly. Ample parking within an enclosed charming small garden, with two seating areas for those sunny days. Bird watchers should take binoculars, as owls, hawks and others all around. Be warned, the fields can be muddy, so pack some boots and spare towels too. We enjoyed our stay very much and may well return soon."

"The 'house' was not at all suitable for a dog as the living room was upstairs and dogs were not allowed upstairs. The downstairs bedroom had no windows so was dark and airless. The upstairs bedroom was too light. The blinds on the window were useless and there was a street lamp outside. The velux windows had blinds on them but it was impossible to reach them so they were uncovered all the time. There was no dishwasher which is fair enough but there was no draining board to put the washed items. With a wet dog and child, it would have been a good idea to come and go through the utility room but then the dog (and the rest of us) would have had to go through the downstairs bedroom (which was not allowed).I would not describe the house as 'end of terrace'. It was more like a garage conversion! It looked very modern and attractive inside but was really not very user friendly."

"A lovely property in an excellent location, perfect for our Great North Run weekend (approx. 30 mins from Newcastle/South Shields). Overall the property was very spacious and well laid out with plenty of seating areas, an excellent dining area and 3 good bathrooms - all essential for our party of 13. The only thing I would say is that the kitchen is quite small with only a regular sized cooker/oven which meant a bit of a juggling act when we were cooking for so many, however, the kitchen was well equipped and had the benefit of good sized pans and plenty of serving dishes so we managed fine. Another positive was the large American fridge - so plenty of space for drinks as well as the food! The hidden games room was brilliant. We would not hesitate to stay again. A hot tub in that lovely inner courtyard would be a bonus to sooth our weary legs after the run!"

"We had a fantastic stay at The Stables. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and there to meet us.The cottage is very spacious and tastefully decorated with nice extras such as Neals Yard toiletries in the bathroom and White Company bedding. This is one of my favourite areas in Newcastle/Northumberland, close enough to Newcastle or the Coast to explore and enjoy restaurants and shopping but in a perfect spot to enjoy the quiet of the countryside. Our children loved watching the animals outside, we saw rabbits, guinea fowl and the cows in the surrounding fields. All in all it was a great stay and would would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to others."

"Fantastic tardis property. From the outside looks like a garage but once inside the property is a vast, comfortable, well equipped cottage with lots of light. This is the first time I have holidayed like this. It was easily big enough for a family of 4. The only negative point was there was no outside area attached to the property for our dog to go out, so all toilet needs had to be done attached to a lead walking along the beach. Not ideal at midnight or 7 am. We weren't able to park outside the property either as a neighbour (white van man) parked outside before we got back every day and then made a racket when he left every morning about 6 am."
