"S39282 Cottage really stands out from the rest of the self catering venues in the area and boasts a truly unique location set away from the others. Cemaes Bay is stunning! If you want a nice quiet get away this is the place! We stayed at S39282 Cottage for a solid week with friends and family which felt too short to be honest! The location is spectacular, cute little village only a 5minutes walk away, stunning ocean views, plenty of recreational activities (Fishing, walks, BBQ, rock pools, and swimming weather permitting, boating). The garden literally leads onto the beach, cliff and a small pier on the water! The parking facility is excellent and we parked 4-5 cars easily, in a safe location right on the property! The house is private with no noise or traffic. Access to the house is great, no steep climbs. Most of the rooms are all on the 1st floor so it is easy to get around and are beautiful and clean. Facilities are great (We cooked up a storm!) and the friendly hosts really add to the experience. Maggie & Dave the owners are always looking to please, they really did add that special touch to the experience. This magical destination was worth the journey! Will definitely return!"

"We were very disappointed to be misled by the photograph that showed this property to be on or next to the beach. When we arrived with our children and dogs we were shocked to be on a main road and sharing a drive and garden with a house that is directly attached next door. We were not directly next to the beach at all.The road was extremely busy and the double gate was not child or dog friendly. This ruined our break away and we wouldn’t return. The neighbours joined onto back of house left their back door open which was directly by the shared garden, one of our little dogs ran in and she was really snotty about it, making it awkward. In fact it was very awkward sharing the garden as they were out there as well. The parking was horrendous, one way in and having to all park at different angles so back neighbours could get out.The beach was dog friendly after the 1st of October. I booked this holiday as I am registered disabled and can’t walk very far, to see on arrival the beach was across a main road and not very accessible was heartbreaking for me.I wanted to leave there and then but because we had family coming to meet us I had to stay."

"This property was truly flawless, my only negative feedback is the disappointment in having to leave such a nice place. We stayed here for my Dads 70th birthday and the property/location just added to making this a truly wonderful celebration and family getaway. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everyone had spacious bedrooms with the majority of them having amazing views looking out to sea. My favourite room had to be the living room which again was really spacious and had stunning views looking over Camaes Bay including some great sunsets. If your looking for a coastal getaway then this is the perfect place to stay with direct access to the beach, places for crabbing, coastal walks and even free use of Kayak's. The owners Maggie and Dave really do everything they can to make your stay a perfect one down to the hamper we received on arrival to being there for any additional requirements or advice you may need. Can't wait to return which unfortunately may be longer than we wanted to wait as this place is for very good reason highly popular."

"My husband and I have just returned from our third stay with family at S39282. We love it there. The house is in a prime location in Cemaes Bay, overlooking the whole bay and harbour. The changing tides create new vistas every day and there's always something happening to watch, whether it's boats Entering or leaving the harbour, kayakers, or bird life (gulls, terns, oyster catchers). The sunsets at the back of the house are just beautiful. The house is large, comfortable and very well equipped. The owners, Maggie and Dave, have provided everything to try and ensure their guests have a happy and relaxing holiday. They live in private accommodation above the guest house but they are not at all intrusive; on the contrary they are respectful of their guests' privacy. We have found it very helpful that they live nearby when we've wanted help or advice. They are lovely people and have become our good friends. I highly recommend S39282 as a great place to stay on a beautiful island."

"The panoramic views across the bay, day and night, made the new lounge the area we spent most of the time. There was enough seating for us all to sit together and for those working on the obligatory family jigsaw, to have an area off to the side. The central heating kept us very warm and we did not need the new log burner. The open plan meant that cooks in the well equipped kitchen, were not excluded from the general conversations and activities in the dining and lounge areas. The usual problem of open plan, that cooking smells escape, was eliminated by an excellent extractor fan. The snug area was used by the children for tv so was practically unused. The grandchildren loved the low water access direct to the beach. Well wrapped up they built sandcastles and played beach games. The area is ideal for us and we walked the coastal path and cycled on the local quiet country lanes. We were left a generous welcome pack which kept us going until the food delivery arrived."
