The electric heaters were not that effective and the only alternative is a log burner. The cottage needs a little TLC and decorating. We knew it had 2 armchairs but they were not comfy and a sofa would suit better. The garden was lovely and the dog enjoyed the different areas to explore. Overall would rate as 3 star rager than 4.

This property is second to none. Spotless, great kitchen facilities . Quiet, beautiful countryside. Even helped with my fitness taking the dog up and down the road. Thank you.

Kitchen is well equipped. The particulars should explain clearly that it is essential to buy logs and use the log burner in cold weather, as the background heating is not enough. The cottage was very cold when we arrived, because the thermostats on the storage heaters had been turned up too high. It took us a couple of days to work this out.
