"The house is clean, comfortable and well-decorated, and Mr and Mrs Farrall were excellent hosts. The personal welcome and guided tour of the house from Mrs Farrall, plus welcome pack, made us feel very much at home, and we were impressed that Mr Farrall very kindly came round and changed the bathroom light for us when the lightbulb went. Gwalchmai is a quiet village but is in easy reach by car of the North Wales coast and all parts of Anglesey, so it is a good base for a family holiday. We found plenty to do even on the rainy days. The local supermarkets at Llangefni are easy to get to by car, and for papers, milk, bread and other everyday supplies, the local shop is easy to walk to. I would recommend this property for a family holiday."

"Nice cottage but steep drive. Very poor visability when turning out of drive onto A5 - very dangerous had a few mishaps - hedge and wall need to be cut back. Couldn't leave bedroom windows open at night (only top openings). Garden overgrown and untidy so we couldn't sit out and it was hot when we there. Cleanliness was an issue dusty and cobwebs in bedroom mainly behind bed - had to clean. Cutlery draw very dirty with bits of broken wire in - had to wash all cutlery made me feel sick. Tin openers need replacing rusty and don't work!!!!!!!! I am short and cupboards very high up had trouble reaching crockery!!!!! All the extras were welcome just a pity more effort wasn't put into the cleaning."

"Joe at Sykes booked our break for us with just a few hours notice. The cottage itself was perfect for a family with 2 children and 2 large dogs. There was so much space and everything that we needed was on hand. The garden was out of this world, and more than big enough for us to have a bbq, let the kids play and the dogs roam around without us all on top of each other. We were luck enough to meet one of the owners. Elaine was lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure that we were comfortable and looked after. Location was ideal for travelling around the island. We will definitely be returning."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sleeper Cottage. The house is the best equipped self catering that we've ever stayed in, there was never a moment of wishing you had an item from home to use - it was all there. The garden is absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing and eating in. It was also entirely dog safe for our 3 Miniature Dachshunds; something we have never managed to find before! Usually they find some way to escape under or over something but not here. It's in a fantastic location to explore all of Anglesey with beaches a short drive away and plenty of dog walks. We will be back, I'm sure!"

"Great cottage with all amenities in lovely spot - total peace and quiet. Cosy atmosphere, host Sylvia a delight, friendly and welcoming. All age group in our party ages 10 to 72 loved it, great walks with beaches and sightseeing close by. Central for all holiday spots on island. Grandkids loved meeting the donkeys, pigs, chickens and dogs on Sylvias small holding. Had a great holiday, wouldn’t hesitate to revisit. Can recommend the Oystercatcher restaurant just outside Rhosneigr (about 15 mins drive from cottage) food brilliant.Would certainly be our cottage of choice if we visit Anglesey again!👌👍😁"
