"This property was truly flawless, my only negative feedback is the disappointment in having to leave such a nice place. We stayed here for my Dads 70th birthday and the property/location just added to making this a truly wonderful celebration and family getaway. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everyone had spacious bedrooms with the majority of them having amazing views looking out to sea. My favourite room had to be the living room which again was really spacious and had stunning views looking over Camaes Bay including some great sunsets. If your looking for a coastal getaway then this is the perfect place to stay with direct access to the beach, places for crabbing, coastal walks and even free use of Kayak's. The owners Maggie and Dave really do everything they can to make your stay a perfect one down to the hamper we received on arrival to being there for any additional requirements or advice you may need. Can't wait to return which unfortunately may be longer than we wanted to wait as this place is for very good reason highly popular."

"The panoramic views across the bay, day and night, made the new lounge the area we spent most of the time. There was enough seating for us all to sit together and for those working on the obligatory family jigsaw, to have an area off to the side. The central heating kept us very warm and we did not need the new log burner. The open plan meant that cooks in the well equipped kitchen, were not excluded from the general conversations and activities in the dining and lounge areas. The usual problem of open plan, that cooking smells escape, was eliminated by an excellent extractor fan. The snug area was used by the children for tv so was practically unused. The grandchildren loved the low water access direct to the beach. Well wrapped up they built sandcastles and played beach games. The area is ideal for us and we walked the coastal path and cycled on the local quiet country lanes. We were left a generous welcome pack which kept us going until the food delivery arrived."

"The owners were very helpful and available, but not intrusive. They respond to queries quickly and ensure that a good holiday is had. They supplied local knowledge as well as a comfortable base. The property is ideal for a multi-family group, allowing separate areas for privacy as well as sufficient shared space. The wheelchair access is invaluable for those needing it. Instructions for the use of various items were simple, easy to find and easy to apply and it is always good to have an efficient recycling system. The kitchen is one of the best stocked I have ever seen and the household bedding and linen is of a good quality. We also appreciated the little touches in each room. Views across the bay and from the property were spectacular and it's location hard to beat."

"With specific reference to this property, one adult couple was unable to sleep on the futon in the family room. However, the problem was reported to Justin on Saturday morning and a new mattress was delivered on Sunday, which was gratefully received. So thanks for that. With regard to rubbish, some information would have been helpful about recycling. We found the box but it didn't hold very much and we ended up bringing a large bag home with us for recycling . Most people would not bother! Also some very smelly rubbish had been left in the black bin! Apart from that we had a lovely time and the cottage was great for children and well located."

"Joe at Sykes booked our break for us with just a few hours notice. The cottage itself was perfect for a family with 2 children and 2 large dogs. There was so much space and everything that we needed was on hand. The garden was out of this world, and more than big enough for us to have a bbq, let the kids play and the dogs roam around without us all on top of each other. We were luck enough to meet one of the owners. Elaine was lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure that we were comfortable and looked after. Location was ideal for travelling around the island. We will definitely be returning."
