About this Holiday Cottage

Situated at Plumpton Rocks near Harrogate, The Smithy at Plompton is a beautifully converted former blacksmith's situated within easy reach of the Yorkshire Showground. Perfect for both couples and small families, this attractive property has one double bedroom along with a double sofa bed in the lounge. 

Inside

The living accommodation is open plan with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, large coffee table and flat screen TV with DVD player and iPod dock. A range of discs, games and books are also provided. The well equipped kitchen has a washer/ dryer, fridge with small freezer compartment,  microwave, electric oven and hob.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The carpeted master double bedroom has plenty of storage, an alarm clock and hairdryer. There is also a shower room with corner cubicle, tiled floor, heated towel rail, WC, hand basin and shaver point. 

Outside

There is a front patio garden and bike storage area. A rear ramp is provided for disabled access and the cottage also has car parking. 

A hot tub can be found in a separate annexe behind the property.

Other Things to Note

Babies are welcome and we can supply a travel cot and high chair on request. All linen, towels and fuel are included in the rental price. A welcome pack of beverages and toiletries is also supplied. Please bring your own barbecue. The property is heated by electric central heating with oil filled radiators.

Availability

Short breaks of two nights or more are welcome. We do not accept pets at this cottage. A £25 linen charge applies for use of the sofa bed and we can supply a z bed. Please note though that the maximum occupancy for the cottage is four.

Around and About

The cottage is set within easy reach of the A1 and close to Harrogate, Wetherby and Knaresborough. The city of York is also closeby and ideal for day trips or visit the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Local shops, a village pub and the Yorkshire Showground are a five minute drive away. The nearest train station is a ten minute drive away.
