Thank you so much for an amazing stay . The quality of everything in the cottage was beautiful . Quality of the beds and bedding was 5 star . It Was immaculately clean . Waterside House fully deserves a 5 star review. It's in an excellent location in the middle of Knaresborough close to the river and town, but it is also very private and quiet. The house has been impeccably renovated by the current owners and is very warm and comfortable. The house strikes a great balance between history and having every modern amenity. We quickly got used the Aga and whilst it wasn't cold enough that we needed to light the fires we could see how cozy the lounge and dining room would be if we had. The owners have taken on board previous comments about kitchen equipment and we had everything we needed. The 6 of us who stayed at Waterside House would 100% recommend it as a place to stay in Knaresborough.

Fantastic accommodation, right from opening the front door and entering the reception to the kitchen, lounge and bedrooms. Lovely to sit in the garden patio area when the weather is good. No shortage of eateries in the village up the steep (not for the faint hearted) hill. Appletons butchers sells the best steak pies around, highly recommended by me. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this accommodation again.
