"Cabin facilities weren't very good. The beds were terrible , you could feel the springs from the mattresses digging in your back whichever way you moved and they were so uncomfortable. We complained to reception and they sent a couple of duvets to our cabin to lay on top of the mattresses - this was marginally better but not a long term solution and still not very comfortable. There was also a window in the kitchen area which didn't close properly and could only be left on the latch. There were only two chairs on the decking when the cabin was for 6 people so when we wanted to sit outside we had to take the kitchen chairs out which wasn't very convenient. The fridge door would occasionally pop open as the door wasn't very good. The cabins are much closer together than advertised, as the marketing materials make it look like you have far more private space - we didn't really have much privacy at all as the parking area was face on to our sitting area so people could see right into the cabin when parking up or walking through. The positive was that the cabin was clean."

"The cottage is extremely comfortable with lovely furnishings, very well equipt and spotlessly clean. There is a lovely conservatory at the rear of the property where it is a delight to have your evening meal which is just like sitting in a lovely beach bistro! This leads out onto a covered area which looks out onto the nicely laid out garden area where one can watch the stars in the evening sky. There is a formal dining room and a big comfortable lounge but we loved 'the snug' area during the evenings. David and Craig are wonderful hosts who are the nicest people you could ever meet and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them. The Welcome Pack was one of the best ever. The location of the property is ideal for visiting both the North and South of Cornwall with easy access to Lands End and the Lizard. The Eden Project is also attainable from this location. We highly recommend this property."

"The cottage was very comfortable and well presented. However, the double bedroom did not have enough space and storage for a couple. I am single and I found it difficult. No plug outlets apart from the ones being used for the bedside lamps and the extension cord provided did not work properly. The conservatory needs attention with the cleaning. Lots of cobwebs and dead insects on the furniture. My only wish would be for cottage to be located somewhere else. My experience in Hayle was not nice. The locals were quite rude and racist to my family."

"We had a great holiday, the owners very nice and helpful. The apartment had a great view to St Ives and over the sea area. Had every thing you may need, just sitting looking out to sea and the surround was far better than watching tv. The use of the garden with the fine weather we had was grand. The train to St Ives was an easy trip, parking in St I a nightmare. The ease of visiting places of interest was fine ie: from Lands End to St Michaels Mount to Padstow all good. All together a grand holiday, and yes we would return."

"Directions on how to find the property we're spot on and it's position made easy access for getting out and about to visit lots of places all round the west Cornwall. Another nice touch was the welcome tray for us on the table complete Cornish cream tea.Suited our needs for a base close to our family and friends. Handy for the beach and places to eat etc. Would have preferred more space in the kitchen and more outside space, although the latter didn't matter too much as the weather was poor.Would stay again at any time"
