      Whilst this is a beautiful apartment in a superb location, there were a few things that made me mark it down.

      The cleanliness was not great. On arrival, I went to use the loo, and the toilet seat was dirty. There was what appeared to be congealed urine on the seat. I wiped it, and the wipe was filthy. There looks to be urine in the gap at the bottom of the lid, too. The bath had a white powdery coating in it, so I didn't use it. The bath, sink, and shower all look like they need to be sealed as there is a gap in some parts. The double bedroom has mildew on the windows and the net curtains. I wiped the kitchen work surface down as there was something on it near the sink, and again, the cloth was quite dirty. The oven door did not close properly, so we did t use this. We emptied the kitchen bin on leaving, and there was some eggshell and other rubbish in the bottom. Generally, we felt that the lounge was a bit run down. The sofas feel like they don't have much support in the seats. The chairs in the window are grubby. The pillows on one of the sofas were torn, and one had a big stain on the back. The pillows on the window seats were also stained. The windows themselves looked like they had been cleaned but were all smeared, so we did the big window ourselves. One night, we had strong winds and rain, and both were coming through the big window. The wind was coming in at the hinges, which made an awful noise. It was also blowing through under the window sill. We couldn't work out where the rain had come in, but the window sill was soaked the length of the main middle window. The other thing that concerned me was that the info book seems very out of date. It mentions window keys in case of fire. However, this was nowhere to be found. In any case, even with getting the window open, you wouldn't be able to get out as there is no window ladder. There is also no fire blanket in the kitchen. The emergency torch didn't work. Despite the above, we enjoyed our holiday, and the apartment is in a great location, we just feel like the owners should be made aware of these issues. We would give this apartment another chance as it is a good size, bright and the location is amazing.

      We had a lovely time, the weather was brilliant and the area is superb.

      The apartment was beautiful, but, as with previous feedbacks, the balcony let it down. Such a stunning view but the cleanliness and upkeep of the balcony detracted from the rest of the property. Needs a coat of paint or at least wash all the green and grime off the walls and floor. Fag butts not swept up either. FYI The double socket to the left of the sink doesn't work. All the others were fine. Could do with a small sieve or colander. The freezer door, as reported a few times before, is broken and awkward to use. Also perhaps state the parking height restriction on the main advert rather than advise two days before arrival. Luckily we could lower our suspension but if we had brought our other vehicle we would have been in trouble. We had an issue with the washing machine, couldn't find the main manual for it. It was blocked with a key and coin which had been there quite a while but luckily we managed to clear it and left a note for the cleaners that the wet towels were in the bath from mopping up the near flood. Having said all this, we had a fabulous time and would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Thank you.

      With its stunning view of the bay from the balcony, this tastefully furnished and well equipped apartment is delightful.

      The additional features of the washer/dryer, dishwasher and coffee machine bestow a touch of luxury accommodation. Undercover allocated and safe parking takes away the stress of using on street parking. Check in is quick and efficient with the lock box system and the welcome basket awaiting you on arrival is a lovely touch. The golden sands are only 10 minutes away although it is quite a steep hill and would be hard for the less mobile. To avoid the inevitable difficulties of parking and traffic queues in the area, the nearby train station is a huge bonus enabling easy access to St Ives and indeed most of Cornwall using the train network. There are a few small niggles, the balcony lets the apartment down with its grimy appearance, such a shame, the freezer compartment door in the fridge falls off as the hinges are broken and the shower is more a trickle than a flow. However, all aside, I would still return without hesitation.

      Good apartment, nice view.

      Heating not working on arrival, had to call someone out and even they could not make it work properly they provided extra portable heaters. The TV only worked sometimes there is obviously an aerial connection problem. DVD player is never going to work as there are no input and output leads. The balcony was filthy a complete eyesore. The rear sun patio could not be used as the floor had been covered with artificial grass and was permanently wet. The kitchen lacked a few basic implements such as a draining board rack, kitchen tongs, collinder, lid for the casserole dish. None of the windows opened to vent so no ventilation while sleeping. No smoke alarm or fire extinguisher. We have stayed in several holiday lets with sykes and they have all been good except this one. Not value for money.

      This apartment is all about the view which is breathtaking.

      There were some cobwebs, the kitchen tap is loose, the grill is so hot it's unusable even on it's lowest setting. The bath seal is split and a big gap opens up when you fill it with water. The living room lamp turns itself up and down and all the other lights are too bright for a relaxing evening with that amazing view. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment very spacious, I like the querky layout and all the windows. Thanks for the bluetooth speaker, nice touch. The parking is very tight, my car only just squeezed in so if you have a big Chelsea Tractor you might not get it in. It was perfectly ok once in and nice to be under cover to keep the car cool in summer. To be honest, that's all irrelevant once you've seen the view.
