What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Looe To Rent.
Mrs Natalie Mitchell - verified booking
"Really great property, very clean and super tidy, very modern. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen in particular was delightful - it had more equipment in it than most places we’ve been to, and all of it clean!! The view was lovely, really nice to throw open the big door onto the balcony and look at the river. The building is obviously well taken care of - the lobby and lift and hallways are clean, bright and modern. The cream tea on arrival was a very welcome surprise, how lovely! We were spoilt with 2 bathrooms! Books and DVD’s provided were well used. Kids loved their bedroom. The location was nice - not too far a walk into Looe at all, just over the bridge and there you are. And just a minute walk to the kids favourite - the amusements!"

"We had a great week at moby house, the photos don't do it justice as I was worried about the garden being enclosed for our dog. It is enclosed with decking sun loungers and patio furniture. The house is spotlessly clean and really comfortable, they have thought of everything it's very well equipped. Moby house is a great base for exploring south Cornwall. We found the neighbours and all the locals to be very friendly and it's a doggy paradise with the beach being so close and dog freindly all year round. The only downside for us was the building work which is going on in front of the cottage, they are building new houses and did wake us up some mornings. Obviously this is not a long term thing so wouldn't stop us visiting moby house again."

"There are not enough superlatives for Moby House. We had a fantastic week, it was everything we wanted. First time for us hiring a house, we couldn't fault it. Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, has everything you need. We had been left a welcome note when we arrived along a bottle of wine and some chocolates, very nice touch. The rooms are lovely, living room is great and the patio area is very relaxing and really nice. Downderry is a nice little village. Location wise it was a great base to travel from, not far from Seaton, Looe, Fowey and Polperro. In our option there are no negatives at all, do not hesitate to book this property, you will not be let down."

"We really enjoyed staying in this property. It was a cosy cottage in a good location. Two handy shops within a couple of minutes walk was ideal and looe itself wishing easy walking or ferry boat distance. It had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and was pleasingly decorated with a seaside theme. It was very clean and the bonus of a dishwasher and washer dryer with a toddler was very much appreciated. The king size bed was very comfortable and our toddler loved her own room on the top floor. It was too warm and sunny to use the wood burner but this was a nice feature which would be lovely in colder weather. "

"My 10yr old daughter loved it and cried when we left and is desperate to come back. The cottage is charming with exciting staircases and attic room. The view is stunning. It is in West Looe so one can take a short ferry over to East Looe where the main town and beach is. My daughter considered this a plus! There is no road in front of the cottage but a long flight of steps. My daughter also considered this a plus. There is allocated parking up a zig zag path. The location is part of its charm but would not be suitable for all. I liked it."
