About this property

This coastal bolthole for two is in the harbour town of Hayle, on Cornwall’s north coast. The area is a paradise for walkers with an endless choice of coast and countryside routes to explore, such as the clifftop paths at Godrevy Point (5 miles) and the sandy shores of The Towans (2.5 miles). For shopping and eating out, head into St Ives (5 miles) or Penzance (9 miles).

A lift or stairs lead to the second-floor apartment. Once inside, discover bright and welcoming accommodation arranged across one level. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is decorated in calming, coastal hues and enjoys far-reaching views from the Juliet balcony. To the rear of the room is a sleek kitchen area with everything needed for a self-catering break and a breakfast bar for informal dining. Alternatively, take a seat at the cute dining table for a romantic dinner for two. In the evenings, relax in the stylish lounge area to read a book or watch a film on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, retire to the beautiful super-king-size bedroom, with its statement wallpaper, plush linens, and coastal views. A contemporary bathroom completes the accommodation. There is no outside space, but with the beach less than 200 metres away, you’ll have ample opportunity to stretch your legs and fill your lungs with sea air. Parking is available for one car in a shared carpark.

Hayle is a bustling harbour town with a good selection of cafes and pubs to refuel in after a day of adventure. The town boasts a 3-mile golden, sandy beach and is a hub for water sports enthusiasts. Just 5 miles away is the popular seaside resort of St Ives, known for its picturesque, cobbled streets and magnificent sandy beaches. The town has a fantastic array of eateries, many of which serve delicious seafood, and is also home to the fascinating Tate St Ives. Other days out from the cottage include St Michael’s Mount (6.5 miles) and The Minack Theatre (17.5 miles).
