Primrose Cottage in Hayle, Cornwall, is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The enclosed garden is appreciated by dog owners, and the property's location is convenient for exploring local beaches and towns. Some guests experienced issues with parking, drainage smells, and recycling, but these were not universal concerns.
The majority of guests were impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, often describing it as spotless and well-maintained. A few guests mentioned a smell of drains, but this seems to be an isolated issue rather than a reflection of the overall cleanliness.
The location is generally praised for being close to Hayle town, beaches, and other attractions in Cornwall. However, some guests found the parking situation and the narrow driveway to be inconvenient, slightly affecting the location score.
Guests found the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, with a well-equipped kitchen. Some guests mentioned the lounge was small and the settee uncomfortable, and there were comments about the upstairs bathroom being a bit awkward due to space constraints.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen. However, there were several mentions of issues with the shower and a lack of recycling facilities. The absence of a cafetière was noted by a couple of guests, and some maintenance issues like the shower being out of order affected the score.
While guests appreciated various aspects of the cottage, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property management or owner. Therefore, this score cannot be assessed and is set to null.

It is ideally located to explore Hayle beach, Penzance, St Ives etc. and being within walking distance of a shop, bakery (with delicious pasties) and a pub was a real treat.

A nice quiet location and secure garden for the dogs. Take care in the back bedroom not to flash the traffic, the large window overlooks the road up the hill! The balcony is out of use and there is a sign saying for 'emergency exit only', but there is no key to use in door (that we could find) for emergency exit (you'd be hard pushed to get a person out the window), possibly adding a 'break glass' would be a good idea to make sure it is only used for an emergency. We have a large car so didn't attempt the driveway but parking was easy in the next road along and really not an issue.
