Tommy Jacks Apartment 2 in Bude is praised for its excellent location next to the beach and its dog-friendly environment. Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped spaces and the friendly staff. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests planning to return.
The apartment is generally described as clean and well-equipped. However, some guests reported issues with cleanliness such as a filthy shower drain and dirt around the sofa, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, local shops, and amenities. Parking can be challenging, but the convenience of the location compensates for this minor inconvenience.
The main bed and bedroom are described as large and comfortable with great views. Some guests found the apartment to be a perfect fit, although there were comments about the need for doorstops and the lack of heating in bathrooms.
Facilities are generally good, with well-equipped kitchens and en-suite rooms. However, maintenance issues like a radiator off the wall, a broken electrical socket, and non-smart TVs affect the score.

Situated less than 150 metres from the South West Coast Path in the pretty town of Bude, this fabulous property promises a perfect seaside holiday to guests. Bright and airy, this apartment is an opportunity to embrace coastal life safe in the knowledge that you’ve got a base to return to. Spend the day surfing on Summerleaze Beach (0.5 miles) and don’t worry about taking your wetsuit off there – rinse off in the shared shower downstairs.
Whether you’re taking in the views over the dunes from the open-plan living area or people-watching from the shared terrace at the front of the building, you’ll find your favourite spot here. The kitchen embraces the blue tones of the sea, while the open-plan living area makes use of contemporary styling and colour to create a cosy haven. Have a lay-in in the bedrooms where you can watch TV snuggled under the covers before getting ready to explore some of North Cornwall’s best attractions.
The magical guests among you will love the artefacts at the Museum of Witchcraft (15.5 miles), and when you’ve finished there you can join the South West Coast Path to take walks to Warren Point (325 metres from museum) and along to Tintagel Castle (4 miles from museum; 20.5 miles from property) if you’re feeling fit. Children will love the Milky Way Adventure Park (16.5 miles) and Hidden Valley Discovery Park (23 miles), while grown-ups might prefer the cobbled streets of Clovelly (17 miles).
