    Holiday Cottages in Perranporth

If you do like to be beside the seaside, then you ought to consider booking one of our Perranporth Cottages for your next holiday. However, we're not talking the usual cold, grey seas that Britain is famous for! Perranporth is situated on the coast of Cornwall, which soaks up the best of the summer sun, leaving the waters temperate enough to attract playful dolphins and sun-seeking seals. With beaches aplenty and some of the finest eating to be had anywhere in the country, this part of Cornwall has firmly established itself as the go-to place at any time of year.

Perranporth's beach is a major attraction in itself. With three miles of soft sand to stroll on and swathed in tales of smuggling and wrecking, it's easy to see how Winston Graham suddenly got all stirred-up and wrote Poldark. However, there's no guarantee of seeing Aidan Turner wandering around with his shirt off, in case you were wondering. What is guaranteed, though, is an extensive range of Perranporth Cottages that will put you in touch with the magic, myth and mystery of this part of Cornwall.

Is Perranporth good for families and couples?

For those who've booked one of our holiday cottages in Perranporth for a well-earned family break, there's plenty to get up to. Aside from the sailing, surfing and watersports on your doorstep, you've got the world-famous Eden Project just a short drive away – spectacular in the summer and warmly welcoming in the winter! You'll even find that the Eden Project hosts live music concerts throughout the year, giving you the opportunity to see your favourite band. Alternatively, Newquay Zoo is a great way to spend a day or you might consider the Flambards Village theme park, which is educational and entertaining.

Couples booking our holiday cottages in Perranporth to spend some quality time together might want to steer clear of the family-centric attractions. Instead, Truro Cathedral is a superb piece of architecture, offering three gothic spires and a great viewpoint over the city. Barbara Hepworth's secret sculpture garden, in St Ives, is a wonderful way to peacefully pass some time and you can't really visit Cornwall and not pay a visit to the Cornish Cyder Farm at Callestick. But don't blame us for the hangover in the morning!

What our customers say about their holidays

We had an amazing holiday in Cornwall.

Meadowside is a beautiful home from home furnished to the highest standard. To be honest the photographs do not do it justice. Very spacious and comfortable, equipped with absolutely everything. large garden where we enjoyed family BBQ's and relaxing in the hot tub was just splendid. Amanda the owner was on the other end of the telephone and very helpful and friendly. Meadowside house is suitable for everyone. Our family are older but non the less they had such a fantastic stay they wish to return. The house is not far from beaches and alot of activities available for all ages. Our family enjoyed various meals out however the local "New Inn" just at the corner of the street was lovely. Very friendly and food was nice. The house is a great base to visit surrounding areas which we did. This house was worth the long drive from Scotland and honestly we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Amanda we just loved your house and the extra finishing touches especially a bit of night time reading of your family history ...just beautiful x This holiday home is a must and we will return. Thank You again Elaine & Patrick Erskine

Meadowside is a lovely property with lots of space and a lovely big back garden (added bonus of the hot tub!

). We found the house to be very accomodating with everything we needed throughout our stay including a very thoughtful £20 voucher to use at the local shop & some fresh flowers!! The only bit of neutral feedback i would give is, we found the beds in both the upstairs master bedroom and the downstairs double room very hard. Whilst this maybe great for some, both our families found it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Maybe a nice mattress topper could resolve this issue? During our weeks stay we had excellent weather and whilst the front of the property seemed to stay nice & cool, the conservatory at the rear was very hot and there were no blinds to be able to block the sun out, so we found that we could not use that room most of the time, which is a shame as it looks over the beautiful back garden. The house is a 5 minute walk to the New Inn Pub/restaurant in the village, which was lovely & a 10 (if that) minute drive into Perranporth which was ideal! All in all we had a wonderful stay and would deffinatley reccomend the house to somebody else! Thank you Amanda!

I have just spent the most incredible week at Meadowside in the Cornish sunshine.

A group of us who are long time friends all met at Meadowside for a week of fun and reminiscing and the property was absolutely perfect for us. We had plenty of space for us all and the garden was stunning, we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting outside with a glass of wine in the sunshine. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We felt very welcomed at Meadowside and were greeted with lovely fresh flowers and a voucher for the local shop, which really is the best local shop I've come across! The location of this property is perfect for exploring Cornwall, it's close to many beaches such as Perranporth, Crantock and Newquay. We also visited the stunning towns of St Ives and Padstow which really aren't far away. There is a lovely local pub across the road which offered great food and entertainment. I would highly recommend Meadowside and we'll certainly be visiting again. Thank you to the owners Amanda and David, we all had a fantastic holiday.

We had an amazing stay at Meadowside.

The property is the most well appointed we have ever stayed in and was spotless; we were particularly taken with the Neff appliances! There was a welcome gift left which was a lovely surprise to find along with milk in the fridge. The children loved the gardens and the addition of the hot tub made their week. The property gave us space to mix and spread out alike. It is perfectly located for Perranporth beach and other local attractions but still quiet. Local amenities were spot on with a playground for the children, a lovely local shop and a pub that served amazing food. My only disappointment is that upon returning home to rebook for the same time next year the week had already gone! I have no doubt that we will be back at some point in the future at some point.

Overall a really good stay and we were really comfortable in the property.

We had a couple of small issues when we first checked in - the upstairs electrics had tripped and the underfloor heating was set too warm for our liking. Once notified, the owners came across quickly to resolve. However we didn't really master the heating and the downstairs rooms remained very warm through the stay. The property is really well appointed with lots of kitchen equipment, board games etc and is very spacious and comfortable. My once slight disappointment was that the log burner wasn't usable - as this was something we had specifically searched for. Overall cleanliness was very good, although we did find some hair from the previous occupants on one of the bedroom carpets and tablecloth. Overall a really good stay and I would recommend
