This home-from-home cottage exudes character and comfort from the moment you step foot inside, complete with three inviting upstairs bedrooms where six guests can rest weary heads.

With sturdy oak furniture, stone-flagged flooring and the lounge’s warming wood burner, a sense of traditionalism is maintained in this lovely two-storey place. Thoughtfully laid out with two generous communal spaces, the ground floor is made up of both the lounge and the kitchen/diner. Whilst the kitchen/diner acts as a hive of activity with the breakfast table at its centre, the living room provides a more restful place to relax with cushy sofas positioned around the fire. In sunny weather, spend all your time dining al fresco in the garden or head into the games room to play ping pong and table football.

Despite its rural location, the property is within driving distance of the bustling town of Bude (7 miles) where you’ll find all necessary amenities and Summerleaze Beach with its much-loved seawater bathing pool. The very best way to view the magnificent scenery of this heritage coastline is by following the South West Coastal Path, so wander or cycle the 2-mile route to reach the path and head out on an adventure. Spot beauty spots and beaches from the clifftops, perhaps venturing as far up as Devon’s beautiful Welcombe Mouth Beach (8 miles).
