"Accommodation itself was good; comfortable, spacious and clean. My only bug bear; why supply a hair dryer and then not have a mirror up near a plug so that the hairdryer can actually be used!? Luckily I’ve learnt from experience and took my own mirror. Oven is also filthy. We got the feeling that tenants are expected to clean before leaving and that the lodge never really has a proper clean between hirers. The garden is awful; not secure for the dogs, and in my opinion not even worthy of being called a garden; the ground is uneven, muddy, not even a decent lawn. In fact, no lawn at all, just weeds and scrappy bits of grass. Also some dog poo left in the garden from previous tenants. The location, however, and the site was not so good. No amenities within walking distance, and the site was unpleasant. Lots of building work still going on, which meant that every time we walked the dogs (as we couldn’t just let them out in the garden) they walked in dust from the building works."

"We are easy going so we are not ones to complain but We paid for a home from home it wasn’t all bad but barn wasn’t very clean beds uncomfortable. Main bedroom boiling as u can’t turn the heated towel rail off . Dishwasher and tumble dryer doesn’t work . Stair gate broken And hoover didn’t pick up bin in the kitchen Broken and spiders Everywhere bedding smells, also smells very damp in front room and back bedroom. Couldn’t open and of the windows. Could only use one bathroom facilities at a time otherwise the other one is getting burnt. Not petty but we saved all year for this if the inside was as welcoming as the outside it would have been perfect. U must drive to stay there and just my personal opinion is that we still had a great stay and wherever u stay in Cornwall u must visit lusty glaze beach 😊"

"This is a fantastic property with a large open plan feel in the double-height lounge area. It has a lovely garden to sit out in as well. It's only 20 minutes drive to the coast all round Padstow down to Newquay and only 45 minutes to St Ives or the Helford Estuary, so ideal if you want to explore. The property is just yards off the A39, so perfect for getting about, but the one downside of this is traffic noise. It's not a big problem (we barely noticed other than the odd late night motorbike), but if you want total idyllic silence then maybe this isn't the property for you. The owner Sam is lovely too!"

"The resort itself was lovely. We had lots of use of the soft play and bar. We also enjoyed the flo rider and Winter Wonderland for ice skating. The fireworks on New Years Eve were a great bonus! The general location of the resort was good too. We visited Newquay and Padstow and they were just a short journey away. There were also lot of other places to visit near by. Definitely worth another visit! The chalet was lovely. Plenty of room for the six adults and four little ones. The additional lounge upstairs was a bonus and the views were stunning!"

"Good space, interesting and comfortable, though no views to enjoy when staying in - which was often given the lack of sun and warmth. Furnished well enough, but no dressing table for those needing to dry their hair at least once daily. Village itself is fairly ordinary with no good walking or cycling opportunities. Local building works were at the time noisy and encroaching, and the local weather was persistently dull, overcast and wet.Nice place, shame about the location."
