Those keen on outdoor fun can also reach Tamar Lake within 2 miles of the property, a water sports destination with kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding on offer. There are plenty of scenic walking opportunities nearby, including the pathway around Tamar Lake and a pretty Coombe Valley circular from the village of Kilkhampton (2 miles). This village is also your go-to for local amenities, including a pub, shop and a takeaway. For walking or cycling, you’ll find even more picturesque scenery along the Hartland Heritage Coast (4 miles), including a route along the South West Coast Path (5 miles) up to Hartland Point (15 miles).
