With light-filled rooms, clean interiors and modern minimalism throughout, you’ll feel instantly at home in this stylish two-storey holiday home. The property offers open-plan living downstairs and two bedrooms, a double and a twin, on the first floor. The family bathroom is found on the ground floor, along with French door access to the private patio with outdoor dining and a BBQ. The living space is smartly laid out with a kitchen/diner on one side and a lounge on the other, complete with plenty of soft seating and a Smart TV for those utterly relaxing nights in.
Although situated in Cornwall, this estate is within easy reach of Devon for those eager to get to know this scenic area. Access Great Torrington (18.5 miles), Bideford (21.5 miles) and Barnstaple (30.5 miles) within an hour’s drive, along with the marvellous beaches that hug the Hartland coastline close by (approx 12 miles). The fabulous Peppercombe Beach (17 miles) offers a stretch of pebble shores that’s dog-friendly all year round, ideal for games of fetch on both hot and cold days. Westward Ho! Beach (23.5 miles) is another highlight, backed by a nature-packed country park.

Lamberal was such a lovely lodge, with beautiful views of the lakes. We were thrilled with our surroundings and enjoyed walking around the lakeside paths and out into the countryside, where Tamar lakes were within easy reach. All of our family of four (inluding one teenage and one younger daughter - and a dog, too), enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The lodge provided ample space for our small family. Our sporty kids were well catered for. We all loved a daily pre-booked swim on our own as a family, as well as making great use of the games room, tennis court and play park. We were in easy reach, by car, of stunning beaches both north and south of Bude. The guest information proved invaluable in planning out some brilliant day trips, with Clovelly proving to be a charming harbour village, almost lost in time. The site was beautifully kept and so well organised that we didn't need to contact our hosts at any point. We want to take this opportunity to thank them for providing us with such a fantastic holiday experience, which we will highly recommend. A wonderful stay - thanks loads...
