"We enjoyed our weekend at Green oak cottage. The views of the country side from the garden are truly stunning, it was lovely sitting in the garden watching the sun set. The cottage itself is beautiful and homely with everything you need. The spa bath was amazing! We took our dog and had great walks from the cottage, it was really therapeutic walking through the country side, so peaceful. We came across a little waterfall which was nice to see, and lots of sheep and a pig in their enclosures. Just across the driveway from the cottage there is also another garden which was large enough for our dog to have a run around with her ball. The welcome basket was very much appreciated, copse house cider that's made across the road and crisps and biscuits, they were delicious. David introduced himself and was very helpful with advice on where to walk our dog. Very friendly and we knew where David and Jane were if we needed anything. Overall a perfect cottage to get away from it all and relax."

"I simply cannot flaw this lovely barn conversion cottage! It is stunning, cosy and equipped with everything you could possibly need to get through your stay there! We arrived to cake and fresh eggs on the table and milk in the fridge and the cottage had every utensil we could wish for! It has a lovely garden with outdoor seating overlooking a pond and an en-suite bathroom with everything you could need. The only fault I can pick is that the lock in the bathroom didn't seem to be functioning properly, but everything else worked perfectly! The farm that the cottage is situated on is quiet and the hosts respect their guests' privacy but are friendly when you do bump into them. There aren't any shops in walking distance from the location but Bridport is only a very short drive away and there are grocery stores even closer. Overall, a very beautiful and practical cottage perfect for a cosy get away!"

"The farrows was a beautiful cottage with everything needed for your holiday. exceptionally clean and tidy. Very central for all the Dorset well known beauty spots. Very quiet secluded farm. There was a welcome of milk in the fridge free range eggs on the table and a very tasty fruit cake in a tin on the table, what a good start to our holiday. Within minutes of arriving we were sat having a lovely cup of tea and a slice of cake without touching anything in the car. We visited Glastonbury Tor, the Jurassic coast, Portland bill, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Dorchester, the giant at Cerne Abbas, among other very interesting places. Last of all the owners of the farm had two gorgeous dogs, Cassie and Oscar. Unforgettable holiday thank you very much. Jack and Maureen."

"Lilliput Cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the West Dorset coast and inland. It is also located in the very centre of Bridport with all requisite amenities with supermarkets within a stone's throw and a traditional butcher, a family firm dating back to 1515. Bridport has a rich history of ropemaking. The cottage is well equipped. It has the benefit of an allocated parking spot a few yards away. There are half a dozen attractive beaches - West Bexington, Cogden, Burton Bradstock, West Bay, Eype and Seatown (with Golden Cap) - within a few miles as well as the hill forts of Eggardon and Hardown. The area is also well known for its Jurassic fossils. We would be very pleased to re-visit in the future."

"A lovely cottage with scenic country views and extremely well appointed with thoughtful care. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. After driving out to several nearby locations such as Clouds Hill ( Lawrence of Arabia’s house ), Blue Pool, Golden Hill and Stourhead gardens ( with it’s ancient Spreadeage Inn, in the grounds serving good food ) it was good to chill on the patio with a drink, gazing at the cows and listening to the soothing waterfall in the pond. What’s not to like - and of course the local pub ( The Ship at West Stour ) just a mile or two away which serves good food and drink. In all we had a lovely break at the cottage, encouraged by excellent sunny weather."
