"The whole appearance is shoddy and run down. Room by room these are our opinions: on arrival lots of the lights were not working, some of thesecwerecrectified the next day. Drive way, good parking, but over run with weeds, looks shabby. Lounge - seating for four as one of the chairs is unusable, mis match of furniture, settee damaged, looks to have been clawed by a cat.. As there were six of us two people had to sit on the floor!!!!! Tv ok. Kitchen diner. Cooker only two rings worked, cooker light didn't work, no idea what temperature cooker reached, not fit for purpose, it appears that the faults on the cooker were reported two years ago, we informed the owner and were left a message that an engineer would call. Dishwasher dirty and smelt. Washing machine ok, kitchen floor very poorly laid and wrinkled. Looks awful. Good sized fridge freezer. Units in poor condition. Dining area - six dining chairs and a table, table badly marked, chairs have been re covered very badly, nice crockery set. Patio doors lead out to decked area, decked area is very plain, and looks uncared for. some potted plants would improve the look. Mis matched garden furniture. The garden beyond is unusable as its overgrown by brambles and looks awful, an old washing line has been thrown into it. Shoddy laminate flooring in the dining area. A chair is placed to hide what might have been an old cat flap, the chair is dirty and ugly. Hallway- a leak in the ceiling was reported in Feb, however, the resultant damage to the plaster work had not been repaired. A cupboard in the lobby provides space for shoes, but doesn't close properly. Double bedroom, nice size with units, we found the bed to be very uncomfortable Twin bed room, not very nice, beds ok, curtains shabby and thin. Bunk beds, table lamp doesn't work, beds ok Bathroom nice but no anti slip mat provided. Towels provided were ok but a little thin. Decor throughout run down, furnishings all a mis match more like charity shop purchases. Such a shame as the house is in a good location and with some care could be an absolutely fabulous let. We found it depressing. Not one we would recommend or return to."

"Generally it was a great location and great place to stay, we were spoiled by excellent weather for the whole week and I would book again. We Liked: The size of and facilities within the flat, it was very comfortable and easily accessible. The kitchen was well equipped. The Concierge is 24hrs and they were helpful if we asked questions. We stepped out to a Tesco Express on our right and a couple of cafe's to our left, one selling great Purbeck ice cream. Poole Docks/Marina's were immediately across the road with a great walk along the Poole Harbour/Lagoon to the park or right to further pubs and cafe's. The Town with further stops and supermarkets was a 10 minute walk away With an Asda and second Costa about 15 mins walk away. There were buses running along the sea front and a tour bus which we took. We also tried a visit to Brown Sea via a ferry, other water trips were also available. We didn't like:The deliveries to Tesco and other shops and restaurants below us early in the mornings and the revellers leaving the restaurants close by late at night. It may not be so bad when it is cooler and windows may not be open. The TV DVD had a disc stuck in it I didn't report it until we were leaving or it may have been fixed while we were there. But there were a good variety of Freeview channels. The only thing that I didn't see the importance of was the swipe card for security. As we didn't drive I didn't pick it up when I collected the key (my fault) it also allowed access to the building at the rear door, from the waste bin area and carpark and into the lifts in the front lobby if the concierge was away from the front desk. Don't forget the key with the card! All in all great."

" On arrival there was a burglar alarm - which we weren't aware of and it took a while to switch off - but Sykes were really helpful and they said they would update the house information for new guests. It is in a great location within the woods and you can take a lovely walk down to the beach and within easy reach of Westbourne for restaurants. The house was comfortable. The pool was heated but when tested was 24C to 26C rather than 28C so although the children made good use of the pool, the adults not so much! However, there was a hot tub which was very nice. The mattresses were quite soft for our liking and we changed rooms but they were also soft. There was extensive lighting throughout the house and beautiful gardens but lots of switches in not quite obvious places. The electrics tripped a few times too. The gardeners came mid week (a warning would have been good and they should have buzzed at the gates, not just let themselves in) and the pool maintenance people came early on the last morning (although we asked the to come back as the children wanted a final swim, again why not buzz to request entry). Overall would recommend. "

"Where do I start?! It started with the brilliant contact from the owners of the coach house who wished us a very happy stay. We arrived late on a Friday night, the instructions were clear for the key collection and we opened a garage door to see a huge double garage with room for 3 cars. As someone who loves cars, I am funny about where I park my vehicle, so this is excellent! It is also very safe and secure. We then opened a door onto a beautifully presented and cosy courtyard which was lovely. Upon entering the actual coach house, all I can say is wow wow wow, what a beautifully presented, luxurious 1 bedroomed apartment. Luxury really doesn't cover it, beautifully presented and beautifully clean throughout. The owners have thought about everything and had even left a bottle of cava, some biscuits and tea and coffee for our arrival. The flat is so warm, clean, and comes complete with smart TV, bluetooth speaker, free wifi and laundry facilities. The apartment is simply stunning, and is literally a 5 minute walk from the centre of Poole town. We have had a wonderful stay and will be sad to leave! Seriously cannot recommend this place enough!"

"What a great house! We stayed a week in late March. We were a group of five adults on a family get-together and the house was perfect for us - warm and cosy, peaceful, and full of character. The house has a lovely 'feel' to it - welcoming and easy to relax in - and it is in a very nice quiet street in Poole Old Town. There was plenty of space for us, with a good sized living room and four very nice bedrooms, (three ensuite), and a well equipped kitchen. The garden was lovely and quiet. We did not find that much in Poole itself - but it is big enough to have an interesting High Street, a little museum, and a good shopping centre. But the house is only fifteen minutes walk from the railway station and there is lots to see in the surrounding area so we spent most days out from Poole, including trips to the Tank Museum, Monkey World, and Bournemouth Oceanarium. We had a great time, and we were very pleased we'd chosen Mary Tudor Cottage."
