    Corfe Castle Holiday Cottages

With more than one thousand years of history on its doorstep, Corfe Castle, in Dorset's stunning Purbeck Hills, is not your average holiday destination. But the tiny village offers more than English Civil War history - ideally located in the heart of the so-called 'Isle' of Purbeck, the village is surrounded by the gorgeous Jurassic Coast, and some of the UK's best sea views. The exceptional beaches at Studland Bay are a must-visit while you're in the area.

To make the most of Corfe Castle's many attractions, we have a wide range of self-catering holiday cottages offering a home from home feel. If romance is on the cards, browse our cosy stone cottages and spend your evenings in front of an open fire. For a family holiday, you may prefer a larger house - try one of our barn conversions or farmhouses with big gardens and open-plan living rooms. We even have dog-friendly holiday homes with walks right on the doorstep.

Our cottages in Corfe Castle make the ideal base from which to explore the area. Children will love the enchanting model village, every detail constructed in perfect miniature, while Poole Harbour is a haven for watersports, with wakeboarders and windsurfers speeding through the waves. From walks on the Jurassic Coast to delicious cream teas, Corfe Castle has something for everyone. All you need to do is pack your bags!

What our customers say about their holidays

    • Miss Radovanovic - Verified booking

Rosedale house was absolutely beautiful inside and out! I honestly can’t fault anything - it was spacious, decorated to a really high standard and felt like a home away from home! There was everything you needed there - the utility was super helpful and the garden was an incredible space with a huge dining table to dine outdoors of a nice evening! We had 2 young kids with us and the house was super child friendly with everything you needed. Lots of bathrooms too and en-suites! The location was quaint and right in Corfe castle village which is really pretty - no road traffic either! I’ve already recommended this place to all my friends and I hope to be returning soon I would definitely stay again! It was also spotless and the bedding was super comfy - thanks very much for a great stay!

We were lucky with the weather during our pre-Easter stay, and took full advantage of the beautiful garden to sit in the sun, protected from the cold breeze. We had a lovely holiday in this cottage. Notably, never before have we stayed anywhere which supplied so many children's toys; so much so that we didn't need to unpack any that we brought along for our 4 year old grand daughter - an Aladdin's cave for children and a comfortable and pleasant space for adults to relax in the evenings. The kitchen equipment was of a very good quality and the beds were extremely comfortable. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

I cannot recommend this lovely cottage highly enough! It is perfect for a family holiday. Location is fantastic, close to Corfe Castle and beautiful sandy beaches. Quiet residential location opposite a country pub. The cottage itself is deceptively spacious and has everything you could need. The layout is great for families and the play room and garden are fantastic. I would definitely recommend and will certainly be booking again!!

The location of this property couldn't really be better! 15 minutes from everywhere, beautiful views over Purbeck from the front door, a really great pub just across the road, a few minutes from Corfe Castle. I would definitely return here, it was perfect for a family weekend away and made us all fall in love with Dorset. Incredibly peaceful part of the world.

The property is in a lovely, quiet position, with easy access to the village, but also to the countryside walks. It was perfect for a large family group, with plenty of space and an abundance of bathrooms! The kitchen/ dining area was very impressive, with lovely views of the garden. Really appreciated the two dishwashers ! Lovely, comfortable beds too.

Guarding the principal route through the Purbeck Hills, the 1000 year old Corfe Castle’s dramatic remains stand in an elevated position as a representation of its colourful and significant history. The tumbledown, moss embellished walls and rugged beauty conceal its diverse and often turbulent past.
    Durdle Door
One of the most iconic landmarks in the whole of the UK, the towering natural limestone arch of Durdle Door can be found tucked away on Devon’s magnificent Jurassic Coast. Stretching on for 95 miles, the whole of the Jurassic Coast is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to its ancient history and wild, windswept beauty. However, this dramatic arch of rock rising straight out of the sea is a particularly picturesque spot, even by Jurassic Coast standards.

    Poole Harbour

This large natural harbour was formed during the Ice Age and is the largest of its kind in Europe and second largest in the world. There's plenty to see and do, including watersports, fine dining options and fishing as well as numerous walking trails. There's also a number of islands, though most of these are privately owned. Dogs are welcome, though they must be leashed.

    The Tank Museum

The Tank Museum in Bovington houses 300 military machines and moving exhibitions representing the key battles of every major conflict since the First World War. Cafe & Shop.
