Brimming with character and stylish touches across three floors, this welcoming cottage for two is nestled in the heart of vibrant St Ives, where you’ll find yourself immersed in the town’s rich history, lively atmosphere, and breathtaking coastal beauty.
Step inside to an inviting open-plan kitchen and dining space, where soft neutral tones, a painted-wood floor, and an ornamental brick fireplace create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The beautifully designed kitchen features an island with a ceramic sink and stone worktop, while the farmhouse-style dining table with bench seating awaits for leisurely breakfasts and intimate dinners. On the first floor, there''s an office area and a king-size bedroom. With a beamed ceiling, a grand mirror, and an elegant chandelier, this dreamy sleeping space is designed for relaxation. The bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room. A separate bathroom on this level is the perfect place to unwind with a long soak. Venture up to the second floor, where the spacious lounge is tucked into the eaves, offering a cosy retreat after a day of exploring with its comfortable seating and Smart TV. While the cottage doesn’t have its own outdoor area, you’re just moments from St Ives’ incredible beaches, public garden, and a variety of spots to sit and soak up the town’s unique charm. Parking is available in nearby public car parks, and we recommend pre-booking a space during peak season to ensure a stress-free stay.
Once a traditional fishing village, St Ives is now a hub of independent boutiques, charming cafes, award-winning restaurants, and lively bars. Art lovers can explore Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, while foodies can savour a classic Cornish pasty or fresh fish and chips by the sea. Adventure awaits with five beautiful beaches on your doorstep, offering everything from surfing and paddleboarding to horse riding in the shallows. For a magical day out, head to St Michael’s Mount, 9 miles away, where you can walk the causeway at low tide or take a boat across the water. Alternatively, venture 18 miles to Land’s End, with the clifftop Minack Theatre a mile further.
