Guests say

The Apothecary in Alnwick is a unique and charming Harry Potter-themed apartment praised for its excellent location and quirky interior. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and transport, the responsive host, and the delightful personal touches. While it's suggested as a base for exploring rather than a space to spend extended time, the comfort and attention to detail, including a hot tub, contribute to a memorable stay.

There is insufficient information in the reviews to assess the cleanliness of the property, hence no score can be provided.

The location is consistently lauded for being central, with easy access to the bus station, castle, and other attractions, indicating a near-perfect score.

Comfort receives a good score as guests have mentioned the property is quirky and comfortable, though one review suggests it may not be ideal for spending a lot of time in.

Facilities are well-regarded, particularly the hot tub, but there is a hint that the room might not be suitable for extended indoor activities, suggesting room for improvement.

The host's responsiveness and the personal touches, such as handmade curtains, reflect thoughtfulness. While gifts are not explicitly mentioned, guests should note that such personal touches are not guaranteed.

Had the most fantastic time staying at the Apothecary. Location was perfect and our apartment was very cosy and fascinating. The owners had really made an effort and put a lot of thought into letting out their property. There's so much to see and do that we need to go back! We only got to sample a few of the pubs, we strongly recommend a visit

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the bus station and less to the castle. I had everything I needed and was very comfortable. The host was very responsive when I needed to contact him, which was greatly appreciated. Some really nice little touches, including knowing that the bedroom curtains had been made by the host's mum!

Very quirky and comfortable place, very central to so many places to visit and the hot tub was brilliant.
