"Facilities and rooms could not have been better ! One tiny point, would have welcomed some small shot glasses and some smaller tumbler glasses, say 6 of each. Found the front steps difficult because the handrail does not go down to the drive, and that first step is rather high. yes i know there is a ramp too. We found an excellent place for Sunday Lunch - not cheap but well worth the money - Lastra Farm, but you must book. The attention to detail and the quality of the food was superb. Plenty of attractions to visit. I enjoyed the Moelfre Life Boat museum, and of course we all enjoyed the fish and chip shop, but go easy on the chips, enough to feed the next cottage too ! For a garden centre, Holland Arms was great, and their afternoon teas too. Really enjoyed the Pili Palas Nature World - not a big zoo by any means but excellent for what it was and great coffee too. And some of us managed to see a red squirrel - on the last day, in the Newborough Forest, a lovely quiet place to visit but the boardwalk was too difficult for a wheelchair. The Plas Newydd gardens, well more grounds than gardens, were no joy with the chair either, uphill/downhill and on gravel. Shame we were too late in the season to get a boat ride through the Menai Straits but mum had a paddle in the sea ! It was a lovely place to spend a week."

"Just had a week here, cottage is lovely and cosy, with log burner and also central heating. Fully equipped new kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Bedrooms are lovely, very comfy beds, double in one bedroom and 2 singles in the other. Upstairs bathroom is great, shower is excellent and there’s also a handy downstairs loo too. Outside is very private with nice small garden. Here you’ll find the hot-tub. Great bit of kit to chill out and relax in, any weather, it’s always 39/40 degrees. Shop on the corner quite handy if you start getting low on logs snacks beer etc Cottage is a few mile from Newborough Beach (£4 to get access to beach car park but well worth it) have a walk to Llanddwyn Island, absolutely stunning, loads of little coves and small beaches. If your into your mountains, Snowdonia is a fantastic playground only half hour or so drive away, depends on what peak your going up. All in all, cottage is great, in a brill location to use as a base for day trips out. The owner is lovely and kept in touch with us making sure everything was ok and I would highly recommend this holiday home"

"The owner met us there on arrival and had already lit the fire to make sure we got a very warm welcome! The owners had also prepared us a welcome hamper full of delicious treats and had laid out some leaflets of what was going on in the area that week. The hot tub was amazing - my husband and son couldn’t get enough of it! We had fleecy sheets on the bed so this made it even more cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the week and the cottage was cleaned to a very high standard. The area was very peaceful (we didn’t hear any renovation work!) and was well placed for us to explore the whole of Anglesey. We loved this cottage - it really was perfect and we would stay again. The owner was lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were comfortable. There’s a good selection of DVDs and we were hugely grateful for the tv in the dining room... it worked so well for us having a 10 year old with us... it stopped the usual family rows over what to watch! Thanks again for a lovely week - we definitely hope to go back next summer!"

"This is a beautiful cottage and an ideal base for exploring Anglesey. The owners are just the most thoughtful I've ever experienced! There's everything you need from lu roll to a bottle opener, pizza cutter, a maiden, iron, hairdryer and more... they have literally thought of everything! The hot tub is heaven after a day entertaining a lively hound! We stayed for a week in June and the weather so far has been glorious. We used the cottage as a base for revisiting childhood memories and visiting friends and family on the island. I'd highly recommend an online Asda delivery on the day of arrival, less to bring with you and only comes from the local store in llangefni. Especially in the hot weather. It's 10 to 30 mins to a beach depending on your needs. Newborough beach and the forest offers something for everyone.....our dog is thoroughly enjoying his stay here! Can't recommend this place enough, and I'm certain we will be back. Thankyou Lucy/Fiona."

"We have had an amazing week in this beautiful cottage. This is the nicest cottage we have stayed in. We were greeted by Fiona when we arrived, such a lovely lady, she recommended places to go and places to eat, before leaving us she said if we needed anything to call her, nothing was to much trouble. We were also welcomed with a hamper of goodies ( lovely touch ). The cottage was supplied with so much, woodburner (wood and coal to start us off for a couple of days), two televisions which both had dvd players, Dvds, radio, washing machine, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, towels. Outside was a hot tub (with robes),BBQ, patio area, the list goes on. I could have stayed more than a week in this lovely cottage. Anglesey is lovely too, we have walked 40 miles in total and still many more miles to walk. This weeks holiday has given us some wonderful memories. A huge thank you to Fiona (Proprietor) who has helped to make these wonderful memories."
