The open plan downstairs is very small but cosy. The heating was set very low when I arrived (7 degrees) and took several hours to heat up to a comfortable temperature. It did stay nice and warm after it had heated up. There were a few comments reference difficulty lighting the log burner. The log burner works fantastically with kiln dried logs but struggled with other logs. The double bed was very comfortable, the shower was spacious and worked well, and all the accommodation very very clean.
