After a fun day out, come back and relax in the enclosed courtyard, safe for kids and canines, and enjoy the beautiful country views.

The cottage combines period character and features with contemporary design and comfort. Step inside the spacious kitchen/diner where you can enjoy fresh coffee first thing and fun mealtimes together at the dining table. Head through to the living room to spend evenings in watching TV and playing board games, there’s also a handy utility room with a WC on the ground floor and it’s upstairs to bed for a great night’s sleep in the three bedrooms, all with en-suites. There are two king-size bedrooms, one has an en-suite with a jacuzzi bath and a walk-in shower, the second king has an en-suite bathroom, and the third bedroom is a twin with an en-suite shower room. You can curl up and watch Netflix on the Smart TVs in all three and they’ve all got good storage too. On warm days, have drinks al fresco, dine outside or simple sit and enjoy the views across the surrounding hills.

Explore the neighbouring countryside on foot, both Devon and Cornwall are easy to reach from here. Head to Bude, a wonderful, seaside town, to go swimming in the sea pool, surfing or sunbathe on the beach. Head to Dartmoor National Park (24 miles) to explore its unspoilt beauty, visit Westward Ho!’s wonderful beach (19 miles), explore the remains of Tintagel Castle (25 miles) and its links to King Arthur, and visit the harbour and The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic at Boscastle (20 miles).
