About this property

Kerry Cottage is a really pretty cottage, refurbished to a superb standard and set in a quieter part of Bakewell, the lovely old market town in the midst of the Peak District National Park. As soon as you walk through the door you will be saying 'just come and look at this' as you see the luxurious lounge, ultra-modern kitchen and bathroom and the beautiful bedrooms.

Bakewell, famed for its delicious puddings, is one of the absolute gems of Derbyshire. Enjoy wandering round all the interesting shops, sharing your lunch with the ducks on the river Wye and then having a difficult time picking one of the smashing pubs or restaurants for your evening meal. Bet you go back to Piedaniel's which is the super restaurant down in the town !

On other days grab a packed lunch from the super deli and then just head for the hills. All the myriad of attractions mentioned in this brochure are an easy drive from the cottage so what about trying Castleton's spooky caverns, Chatsworth's incredible adventure playground, the National Tramway Museum's tuppenny rides back into history or just a sunset walk along Calver Edge.

Cottage facilities:

A splendid lounge with luxurious sofas 40" T.V with BT Vision, DVD, Wi Fi and original fireplace with coal effect gas fire. A lovely dining kitchen with quality units, flat screen T.V., hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and automatic washer/dryer. An attractive double bedroom with king-size bed, flat screen T.V. and views over the town. A similar twin bedroom. An ultra modern bathroom with bath, separate double size shower and W.C.

Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are included. A cot and high chair can be requested. There are front and rear gardens with furniture. Parking is on the road right outside or off road parking for one car 100 metres from the cottage. There is storage for bikes. Pets and smoking are not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult.

Weekly bookings are normally Saturday to saturday but short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas and New Year.
