A perfect stay!
This holiday cottage is fantastic. Everything is finished to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable, along with being very accommodating to both us and our four legged friends. The owners, Brian and Sarah, were fantastic and always on hand if we had any questions or needed recommendations of local places to visit. The cottage is really well situated to be within driving distance of many local attractions, but is also in a lovely quiet and secluded farm setting giving the best of both worlds. There is a Tesco superstore and petrol station a convenient 15 minute drive away, if you happen to like to cook meals at the cottage - which the kitchen was very well equipped for. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were provided on arrival, and if staying with dogs, water bowls, a few dog treats and even a dog bed for use during your stay. The courtyard area outside the property is ideal for dogs as it is enclosed, but also a nice little sun trap should you choose to sit outside and enjoy a beverage or two on a sunny day. A dog waste bin is also provided making tidying up after yourself nice and easy. The internet connection was always speedy and reliable, so is ideal for those who may need to do a little work etc whilst away. All in all we had a fantastic time here and would happily stay again! Highly recommended! Thank you for a great stay Brian and Sarah

We have just spent a week at Trenannick Farm and stayed in Little Leighâs cottage.
It was perfect! We were given a warm and friendly welcome from Nick and Jules. The cake and fresh eggs were an added bonus. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy and had plenty of space for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. It was like a real home from home and had everything you could think of. The surroundings are beautiful! From entering the drive to the play and eating area itâs all well kept. My children really enjoyed the play room especially the darts and table tennis and we even had a game of boules. Nick and Jules were kind enough to let them walk the Alpacas. It was our first visit to Cornwall and we wanted to visit some of the local areas and Trenannick was the perfect base for that. There was an handy guide that they had put together to give us ideas of what to do or where to go and where the nearest shops, supermarkets and restaurants are which was very helpful! It was always nice when we got back to have a chat with Nick about where we had been that day. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldnât hesitate to stay again. Thank you Nick and Jules.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting.
The Granary has everything you could need for cottage holiday with plenty of kitchen pots/pans/utensils etc and there was shortbread biscuits, tea & coffee waiting for us on arrival along with essentials like soap & toilet rolls in the bathrooms. Ideally situated for visiting North Cornwall and Devon. Plenty of places within easy reach including Newquay, Padstow, Bude, Tintagel, Boscastle. My daughter even had her 1st surf lesson at Newquay. Several National Trust places nearby, would highly recommend a trip to Lanhydrock. Carnglaze Caverns is a good wet weather option and if you like puzzles then definitely worth a visit to Hidden Valley Discovery Park which is just a few minutes drive. We met wild ponies when driving over Bodmin Moor which were very inquisitive and friendly, not very wild! Thereâs a lovely walk down the footpath outside the cottage, across the stream and back round via the road. We had such a wonderful week and would highly recommend The Granary for anyone looking for a place to stay. Brian & Sarah were very friendly and helpful.

We had the most wonderful stay at Little Leigh's this past week.
Jules and Nick are kind, knowledgable and gracious hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were met with the most beautiful surroundings, stunning well-equipped cottage and the kindest hospitality. The cottage and grounds are perfect for families with a built-in play area, variety of outdoor cozy seating areas and a menagerie of gorgeous animals. The location is perfect for exploring North and South Cornwall. Nick and Jules are so knowledgeable and were on hand to provide great tips for exploring the area. The cottage is lovely and has all the amenities needed. We would highly recommend to everyone! Huge thanks to Nick and Jules who were exceptionally kind to us and our young son. The alpacas were the firm favourite and we are very grateful for the opportunity to walk and learn more about them. Our son is still talking about the fun he had with Nick, Jules and the alpacas! Memories made here will live on for a long time! This cottage and the hosts are truly exceptional and we can't wait to visit again! Thanks so much for the wonderful time!

The little cottage is well equipped and a great base for travelling around Cornwall.
The hosts are great, and there are little touches such as a cream tea, wine and flowers. There are great views at the rear of the property and we enjoyed sitting out, having breakfast as it's very peaceful. The Lodge is decorated to a high standard with a nice bathroom and good shower. There wasn't a lot of places to eat in April as lock down restrictions were gradually lifting. Most nights, we had a takeaway or cooked a meal. The kitchen again is well equipped for this however, we couldn't work out how to use the microwave. Cornwall is a truely beautiful part of the country and highlights were the characterful fishing villages such as Polperro, Padstow and Magavissey. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend this place as a great little hideaway.
