Launceston is situated on the Devon and Cornwall border, and is dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle sitting high above the town. Visit the Tamar Otter Park, just 3 miles away, or take a trip on the steam train through the Kensey Valley. You are also within easy reach of Bude and Padstow to the north, with Plymouth to the south and many fun-filled attractions littering this superb region.

    Coffee, milk and biscuits were waiting for us on arrival. Very pleasant cottage in lovely surroundings. Lots of room to relax in comfort. Ideal situation for sightseeing and visiting areas of natural beauty.
