What our customers say about their holidays

The Annexe was an amazing holiday home in a great location which was also peaceful and quiet too.

The house is so modern and clean with all the facilities you could possibly need during your stay. It’s just like home from home and was exactly what we wanted. Relaxing on the lovely comfortable sofa watching the huge tv after a day of walking and exploring was just perfect. The enclosed garden was a lovely safe place for our dog to roam about also. The owners were so helpful and made us feel so welcome and the welcome pack was such a lovely extra touch that was much appreciated. The walk along the river nearby was lovely and so close and an easy walk into town to the walls, parks, pier and beach and a lovely walk along the tops looking out to the sea with the golf course on the other side. I would highly recommend the Annexe for a lovely relaxing break, perfect for families and dogs. Thank you for an amazing holiday.

      We had a fabulous time!

The property was beautiful, modern and extremely clean. The enclosed garden was perfect for our little westie, and apologies if she barked a little in her new surroundings. I couldn’t fault this holiday cottage in any way. Close to town, parking, a little stroll to the train station and close to the main road without any road noise - brilliant for exploring. We popped to Bamburgh, Eyemouth, Lindisfarne, Edinburgh and Alnwick. It was wonderful to wake up in such an airy property to the sound of birdsong! We’d love to visit again.

This Annexe is a beautiful holiday home in a fabulous setting.

It is very well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The welcome pack provided by the owner was a unexpected bonus Could of really done with the outside light to be working in back garden and lighting down the side of property this would have scored a 10 out of 10. However due to the lighting issue we had to buy a torch so we could see.our dog in the dark. Also unable to use the hot tub due to poor lighting. Overall this would not deter us from booking to stay again or recommending accommodation to friends and family.

The Annex is a lovely comfortable and surprisingly private accommodation given its location attached to the owners property.

It is well appointed, stylish and well maintained. There was a lovely welcome basket for us. The hot tub was clean and warm, though a little difficult to access to remove cover as tucked in a tight corner in the garden and there was no external lighting which made access more difficult in the winter dark. The owners were quick to respond to our contact over the weekend. The location is on outskirts of town and a reasonable walk from train station and town itself.

Property in a very good location both for access into Berwick and to the A1 for travelling further afield.

Was very warm and welcoming to come back to on dark winter evenings. Furniture in the lounge area was a bit minimal - there were just 2 of us, if 4 people were staying seating would be a bit limited and there was no side table or shelving to put our books and maps etc on. An electrical problem during our stay was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we come back to the area.
