What our customers are saying about our Sleeps12 Cottages In Devon To Rent.
Mrs Cahill - verified booking
"Lovely property with everything we needed. We all enjoyed playing poole! The games and toys could do with sorting / reducing as take up a lot of space and some have bits missing. From description I had thought beach was closer, however the nearest coast is rocks / cliffs, difficult to access and not suitable for families. We tended to go to Mill Bay as lovely beach for the children. Weather was great, which meant we used the garden and barbecue, which was lovely. I’d forgotten how narrow the roads are, lots of single track roads, so journey times slow and tested my reversing abilities!"

"Wonderful cottage in a magnificent location. Great views and friendly folk who run the adjoining farm. The narrow lanes leading to the property add to the sense of solitude and are an experience in themselves, just like many roads used to be like but Devon miles are longer than anywhere else in the country!Great local pub meals well cooked and inexpensive. Within easy reach of several local towns with a good selection of shops and places to eat and drink. Good access to Devon Expressway once the lanes have been negotiated.Thoroughly recommended. Time just passed far too quickly though."

"Lovely house in scenically attractive area. Local handyman most helpful and attentive. Unfortunately there was little tourist information in the property and no instructions regarding the use of equipment (oven, TVs and central heating etc). We thoroughly enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the well tended tennis court and had a marvellous time. This property requires that the step from the poolside area to the terrace should be marked . one of our party fell down the step ( fortunately no major injury occurred) and two others tripped down same but did not fall."

"We had some minor gripes: the seventh bedroom wasn't made up; the Aga didn't work; some of the lights were out; there appeared to be no central heating and we had difficulty drying the towels; the beds were not very comfortable, some with a sheet directly on the mattress, instead of with a mattress topper or underblanket. However, we absolutely loved the swimming pool and the conservatory, and had a great week despite rather miserable weather. There was a very quick response to (most of) our gripes, and Anthony, the handyman, was extremely helpful."
