Guests appreciate the pretty garden and the thoughtful touch of a welcome gift. Some noted the steep stairs and suggested a mention in the property details for those with mobility issues.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage received positive remarks for cosiness, but some guests noted the need for a deeper clean in the kitchen and the tidying of bins and bath by previous occupants, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town, seafront, and local amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring Seaton and nearby attractions.

Guests found the beds very comfortable and the cottage cosy, though some experienced initial issues with heating. The steep stairs were mentioned as a potential discomfort for some.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-received heating system and garden space. However, there were comments about the need for clearer instructions for parking and heating, and suggestions for better maintenance.

The owner's thoughtfulness is noted with the provision of a welcome gift. However, as gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, this aspect is appreciated but not expected.

We had a lovely little holiday in Bluebell cottage. Great location in Seaton, just a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs and seafront with the added bonus of the car park just behind. Had a bit of confusion with the parking permit but that was soon sorted out for us. Great base to travel to nearby places like Beer, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Bridport to name just a few. The cottage is lovely and cosy, comfy sofas and beds however the stairs really are steep and would be a challenge to young children and people with mobility issues. The garden was a nice plus too, shame the lack of sun didn’t allow us to sit out in it but we still really enjoyed our stay

Cosy cottage in a great location with a short walk into town and the beach. Beds were very comfortable. Garden was very pretty to sit in as well. Stairs are steep, there is a handrail, but for awareness it isn't suitable for small children or those with mobility problems. Kitchen could do with a deep clean.

A lovely cottage ,good decor and comfortable ,well located in the town .... Heating system worked well once we had worked it out ! Parking permit needs to be arranged before arrival, useful to have for loading and unloading outside property . An enjoyable stay had by all .
