"This was perfect for what we needed. We had 4 adults and 6 kids ranging from 1-6 and we stayed during Feb half term. i was a little worried that the cottage may be a little small for 6 active kids but its bigger than it looks on the pictures and the sofas are obviously new which was nice. the table may be a little bit of a squash for 8 adults but was fine for us. There was a slight issue when we arrived but this was quickly and effectively sorted out by the owners. It was nice to have the option to use facilities of the park although we ended up not using them that much. The baby pool was lovely and warm. The soft play was good for a wet morning and although we only went to the evening entertainment once, this was good and the kids were well entertained. There was heaps to to close by to the park. Fistral beach worth a visit and Watergate Bay is beautiful. There is a good little Pirate Experience in Newquay which the kids really enjoyed. We also visited the Eden Project for the first time which the kids loved...make sure you get a slot in the Forest School, this was great. We went to the Maritime Museum. Every school holiday on a Thursday they do Thorsday where they have Viking Events. They got the kids involved which was great. You can come and go as you please once you have a ticket so we nipped out for take out Rick Stien fish and chips which was just outside. Yummy! Your ticket for this and the Eden Project entitles you for free entry for a year. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. It was great for us but I can imagine it would get very busy in the summer."

"When we arrived at the apartment, we found another car parked in the allocated parking spot, I rang your office, twice, who weren't very helpful, so I ended up parking in someone else's parking space and put a note on my windscreen to say who I was. We found the apartment, very hot and stuffy (maybe a couple of desk fans would help), the patio furniture was old and very rusty and needs to be replaced, I took some photo's but unable to upload them to this review. Another suggestion is to provide larger bath towels. Apart from the above, the apartment is located in a great position for Fistral Beach and a short walk into town. We wouldn't book this apartment again as we would have like a larger balcony to be able to sit out and eat breakfast and diner."

"St Newlyn East is a good spot for accessing the A30 to tour Cornwall. The village is quiet, has a shop and a pub very close by and the local people are friendly. There are some narrow lanes to negotiate but several different routes lead to the village. The cottage is clean, well equipped and cosy and all of the appliances work well. It would be a challenge for anyone finding steps difficult to negotiate. There were toilet and kitchen rolls, washing up liquid and hand wash provided. There was sufficient room for food storage, including a good sized fridge/freezer. The cottage information on the Cornish Horizon website is accurate and the booking process and access information was efficient "

"This property is by far one of the best we have stayed in. It only ‘met expectations’ because we have stayed before. It really is a home from home having everything you could possibly need. This year we took the dog, and again there was all he needed, including a hosepipe to clean the sand if him. The owners are obviously ‘dog people’. Apart from the location the high lights for us were comfortable seating and beds, the view from the back and the shower, which I wish I could have taken home. Also the owner is contactable, really friendly and helpful, the personal touch makes the stay extra special. A truly fantastic cottage and we will definitely rebook, again."
