This 180 year old cottage has been newly refurbished and the charming, traditional façade creates a warm welcome which continues into the delightful interior.

Guests are greeted by an inviting reception room which boasts a roaring open fire, flat screen TV and sumptuous furnishings, an idyllic space when returning from a day ambling round the countryside.

Adjacent to the reception room sits a small but well proportioned dining table which then leads through to the generous and homely kitchen. Featuring contemporary sage green units and ceramic tiling with underfloor heating, the kitchen comes fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster.

Beyond the kitchen and towards the rear of the property there is a secondary living space which offers relaxing leather sofas and a flat screen TV. The perfect entertaining space to sit and gather for a pre dinner drink.

Floor to ceiling patio doors lead you out onto a private terrace which is framed by a traditional stone wall and greenery and boasts incredible views out across the sheep-filled meadows of Glaisdale and beyond. An idyllic spot to ponder the sunset and starry night skies in this designated, Dark Sky Reserve.

On the first floor of the property the period charm and contemporary country chic aesthetic continues; with wooden beams, stone walls and barn-style doors. Here you will find two comfortable bedrooms, the master features a king size bed with an impressive feature headboard made from two old cottage doors.

The second bedroom is more compact with two single beds which would be well-suited as a children’s bedroom for those travelling with little ones. Travel cots can be made available on request but please note that cot linen and highchairs are not provided.

The main bathroom features a generous walk- in shower, vanity unit and a separate roll top bath creating a truly inviting space to wash off the stresses of the day.

Well-behaved dogs may be permitted at the property but this must be disclosed to the concierge team prior booking due to farm animals being present in the neighbouring field.

Please note this is a non-smoking property.

Parking is available on the road outside the property, with space for a couple of vehicles.

There is a security deposit if £200 payable for this property which is fully refundable upon satisfactory inspection of the property once guests have departed.
