Guests say

2 Belvedere Lodge in Swanage is highly praised for its beautiful views, well-equipped and luxurious yet homely accommodations. Guests appreciate the convenient location, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as picnic equipment and welcome scones. While there are minor concerns about Wi-Fi and parking, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning return visits.

The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with high-quality bedlinens and towels. One isolated comment about the oven's cleanliness slightly impacts the score, but the overall impression remains very positive.

The location is frequently highlighted as fantastic, with proximity to the town, beach, and coastal walks. The views are particularly appreciated, contributing to the high score.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and bedding. The presence of three generations in one review indicates suitability for a wide range of ages.

The lodge is well-equipped with high-standard fittings, and guests are pleased with the extra amenities provided. Some issues with parking, Wi-Fi, and minor maintenance are noted, but these do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Guests are touched by the thoughtful provision of picnic equipment, games, and welcome treats. While such gifts are appreciated, it is noted that they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Absolutely brilliant accommodation. Felt very homely and all the furnishings and items in the house are top quality. Yes, there is a bit of a short hill to the house but well worth it for the views of the pier, sea and Old Harry Rocks from the front room and front bedroom. There’s a large hatch connecting the lounge to the kitchen so if you are in the kitchen you still feel part of the lounge. Beds were so comfy and the showers were great! Close to everything you need in the town but on a quiet road that’s very peaceful. It is on the first and second floor so if you’re taking a dog, you will need to go out with them as there’s no direct access to outside but across a quiet road you’ve got immediate access to The Downs which is a popular dog walking area. We did a lot of walking and the Coast Path is a 2 minute walk from the house. Swanage was a welcoming town with nice pubs, cafes and restaurants. Walking the coast path and ridges was stunning. Couldn’t find fault with the property and would gladly return!
