A delightful characterful cottage in an elevated position. A small outside patio is an excellent place to watch all the activities on the river.

Amelia is a lovely cottage situated near to the harbour in Newquay Terrace, with excellent river views from every room.  The changeover day is a Sunday to help avoid the busy traffic.  Out of school holidays we will be happy to be flexible. The accommodation is spread over 3 floors.   

ground floor- 

Kitchen/ Diner- Well equipped kitchen with Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher a pine, family dining table. 

Lounge- Through the kitchen you will find a cosy lounge with a wood/solid fuel burner (solid fuel provided by the owner) TV, DVD and radio for cosy nights in, and lovely views of the estuary.

1ST floor-

Bedroom 1- Double bed (5') Bedside tables

Bedroom 2- Twin Bedroom, 2 single beds (3')

2ND floor- Attic Floor

Bedroom 3- Twin bedroom, 2 single beds (3') with additional cot if required.

Family Bathroom - Accessed through the 3rd bedroom only. Bath, with hand held shower head, WC and hand basin. The washing machine is also located on this level.

outside space- The patio area to the front of the cottage which has amazing views of the river and its constant busy-ness!

parking- No Private Parking available. Parking is available from the St Savours and Quay car parks around 500yds from the cottage. Weekly tickets can be purchased for both carparks for £25.00.  A luggage drop off point is 100 yds.

electric heating- Electricity and Heating included in the rental price.  Heating is by night storage heaters. Wood/solid fuel burning stove in lounge

access & unloading - It is possible to drive to the end of East Street to get within 50 yards of the cottage to unload. There are then 25 slate/ stone steps to go up to reach the cottage entrance.

notes- Sleeps 6 (1 double + 2 twin rooms, please note the bathroom is access through the top twin bedroom). No smoking, No Pets, wifi provided. A cot and highchair are available if required. There are a number of steps and slopes to access the property, inside the property there is an open steep staircase which may not be suitable for younger children or the elderly.
