Serendipity is a charming cottage in Fowey, praised for its excellent location and stylish presentation. Guests appreciate its proximity to local amenities and the thoughtful touches that make it welcoming. While compact, it offers a cosy retreat for couples, with some noting the need for better ventilation and maintenance updates.
Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, though a few noted issues with dampness and cleanliness that affected their comfort. The property seems to be generally well-kept, with only occasional remarks on the need for a deeper clean.
The cottage's location is highly praised for being close to the town centre, pubs, and restaurants, with convenient parking. Its position is considered one of the highlights, offering easy access to Fowey's attractions.
Guests find the cottage cosy and suitable for couples, though some mention that the furniture, particularly the mattress and sofa, could be updated for enhanced comfort. The size of the cottage is noted as compact, which may affect the comfort level for some visitors.
The cottage is well-equipped, but there are several comments about maintenance issues such as the wall fire, extractor fan, and bathroom fixtures. The facilities are generally appreciated, but guests suggest improvements and updates are needed.
Guests mention thoughtful touches like the provision of milk, teabags, and sugar upon arrival, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, as these gifts are not consistently referenced, they should not be expected by future guests.

The accommodation is perfectly positioned in the heart of Fowey. Everything has been thought of and we enjoyed our time in the cottage. We will definitely book again.

It was well situated to explore everything that Fowey has to offer. Some days we just sat on the beach and watched all the sail boats and Ships etc. We walked everywhere from here and the weather has been great to us, sunny and cloudy. The Car Park was extra but we would recommend downloading the Council Car Park App which offers a discount on the parking. The Car Park is literally 50m from the cottage. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay here again.
