Nestled within a gorgeous setting of both countryside and riverside with direct access to the tidal creek, you will find this hidden gem, immersed within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Steeped in history and just a short distance from the charming port town of Fowey, guests who choose to bring a sailing boat have direct access to the creek. With an exquisite pond and waterfall within the grounds, you are transported to a place of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by wildlife and stunning views.
Once inside The Studio, you are greeted by a reverse style living retreat. The inviting hallway leads onto two bedrooms, both designed to offer a super night’s sleep. One has a super kingsize bed, which can become twin beds if required, and has an en-suite shower room. The other bedroom is also en-suite and has a kingsize bed. Both bedrooms have access to an east facing patio overlooking the garden and pond. Stairs lead up to a superb open plan living space. You will see the marvellous models of ships long past on the wall here, a fascinating reminder of how important this area once was for shipping of all sizes. There are super comfy sofas for you to sink into, whilst a TV with Sky and a wood burner add even more comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped, with lots of storage space and worktop space too. Folding doors lead to a west facing terrace with seating, just perfect for al fresco dining, or an evening glass of wine.

We had a lovely holiday at Granny's Studio. Very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful and quiet setting. The cottage also has good WiFi . A good location for exploring this part of Cornwall .Local amenities such as food shops are a short drive away but we had already factored this in so stopped at Morrisons in Liskeard enroute. There is plenty of freezer space at the property if you like to self cater. A welcome pack was provided which included Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.Our hosts were in the other side of the property at the same time we were there. They are a lovely couple and we enjoyed meeting them. We would certainly book again . Jane

Richard and Maggie are exceptional hosts and are happy to share their extensive knowledge of the local area and Cornwall in general.

The cottage was in a secluded location down a very narrow road. It is a beautiful cottage and location in lovely grounds. It was very well equipped and wanted for nothing. The furnishings were first rate and very stylish. We stayed with two dogs and were made very welcome. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wanted a peaceful and private stay.
