    - Mr Hodge, August 2016
"We have taken our grandchildren to luxurious static caravans for several years, both in the UK and on the continent. This year we decided to have a change and booked Mill Beck Cottage. This was an ideal base for touring the Lake District. The property is very well equipped and comfortable. We appreciated having the extra space compared to a caravan. The only disappointment was that the wi-fi did not work. There was no point contacting the agents since the matter had been reported in the visitors' book previously."
    - Mrs Walker, September 2016
"The cottage was in a great location very near to all amieneties, which was especially helpful to my 81yr old mother. This allowed us to walk into the centre of the town."
    - Mrs Martin, September 2016
"This cottage is ideally situated within a 5 minute walk of all the amenities you could need (supermarket, cafes, restaurants and take always), yet is in a quiet road with no through traffic. There are some lovely walks from the doorstep. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped although would benefit from a full size dishwasher. The only improvement required would be the shower, water pressure very low. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend."
    - Mrs Watson, September 2016
"The cottage was comfortable and the welcome basket was great very close to amenities"
    - Mr Andrews, November 2016
"Fantastic location this cottage and handy to have a parking space in front of the property, as the road parking does get full at times. Some previous feedback on this cottage is ridiculous, shower is perfectly fine, internet now working, yes only one toilet for possibly six guest, but hardly a moaning point. Lovely cosy cottage and well located for a very short 2 minute walk into Windermere, a 20 minute walk into Bowness, or a short drive to Ambleside (try Watersedge Hotel in Ambleside for food, amazing!). All facilities in this cottage fantastic and good to have an enclosed back area for the dog. We will definitely book again and could not recommended this cottage highly enough, for the price and location alone."
    - Miss Ayrton, January 2017
"Very easy to book this holiday. Cottage was lovely and in a great location. Would definitely go again. Had a really lovely time"
    - Mrs Mullan, February 2017
"The cottage was very well equipped and way exceeded our expectations. Very warm and cosy, central position with very good extras for young children. Quiet at night and very good internal layout. Made an excellent cottage for my son, daughter, grandchildren and self to visit the area again but in winter time. The wifi was excellent for my son to work Thank you"
    Mrs Fiona Burt, Spalding,
"The cottage was warm and welcoming. It was fully equipped and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't supplied. It was very well decorated and furnished to a high standard. "
    Mr Martin Norton, Lincoln, Lincolnshire
"The cottage was very cosy and the beds were really comfortable. The location was good with a park for the kids just up the road. The cottage had everything you need, had a great weekend thank you."
Mrs Sharon Forrester, Leeds, West Yorkshire
"The cottage was really beautiful and very clean. The location was great. There was a lovely park at one end of the street and in the centre of Windermere. A nice 6 mile walk into Bowness which was fabulous."
