Troutbeck Bridge is a small village in Lake District National Park that is conveniently located between Windermere and Ambleside and not far from the popular tourist destination of Kirkstone Pass. This quaint community, comprised of a smattering of Lakeland cottages, is home to a bustling and very popular local pub known for its excellent selection of real ales and delicious food. Windermere and Ambleside, both teeming with retail establishments, restaurants, and watering holes, are not far away. Kids will love the World of Beatrix Potter in neighbouring Bowness, where cutting-edge technology brings the author's characters to life. Lake Windermere is home to a number of attractions, including an aquarium and a forest park. Troutbeck Bridge is a convenient base from which to explore the surrounding area, including popular tourist spots like Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick, and the Lakeland Mountains.
