A replacement fridge was provided but no freezer so purchased frozen food had to be thrown away. It would of been advisable to inform incoming guests of the freezer not working. This was rectified on the Monday following a phone call from myself and a refund offered on the wasted food. The outside sitting area needed to be scrubbed due to it being dirty and not fit to use. Double glazing is required due to the noise from the nearby busy road. The cottage was warm and dry with plenty of hot water.

downside is one of the bedroom with two small twin beds suitable for kids not adults, hard to sleep in such small bed.

The bedrooms are all a good size, with facility to store clothes rather than living out of a suitcase. The kitchen is adequate for producing meals (although, who wants to slave away in a kitchen when there are so many fantastic restaurants and such like, a short drive away). As an avid walker, I particularly like the Laundry/drying room as the weather is often inclement in The lakes, it affords a place to leave wet clothes whilst having a relaxing rest after a day on the fells.
